MRL3_Reacts

Never been so excited to see the next MHA drop. (I will say this probably 10 more times by time you guys finish the series)

Narawin971

I figured out really fast why bakugou wanted to fight, I cant wait to see your next reaction and hear your final theory as to why he would want to fight deku

Claude

Oh man, next wednesday can come quick enough

Tony

It's funny you bringing up how Izuku wears his tie. When I was in High school here in England, we had to wear ties, and the way Izuku is wearing his is how loads of kids wore theirs to try and look cook. So it's funny to me that everyone is wearing their ties normally and Izuku is wearing his the "cool" way lol

Marko Genter

God damn it we have to wait til next week to see it lol

eXxCeZz

Yeah they write in syllable form. If you are interested I believe the order would be like: A - I - U - E- O ka ki ku ke ko sa shi su se so Ta chi tsu te to Na ni nu ne no ha hi fu he ho ma mi mu me mo ya yu yo ra ri ru re ro wa n It might look weird cuz its romanized. At least thats the order I learned it at school at

The Anime Dude

I’m rooting for Bakugo in the upcoming fight just so y’all know

starrk

Bakugo didn't mean "fight to the death" but more like sparring (they could still get hurt tho). The discussion about his reasons can wait next week. Be patient with Bakugo guys, i know at this point of the story it's easy to be annoyed by his ego and insecurities when it comes to Deku, but his heart is in the right place. And he'll still grow as a person.

H L

One of the things I don't like in this anime is that they treat the bad guys too nice. Why not kill all for one. Solo level guy would kill all for one already

Hanan

Wesley i dont know why you thought a confrontation with Bakugou about Deku's quirk would be wholesome 😭 he literally told him to kill himself in ep 1, he's done some character growth but I don't think his stance on quirkless people trying to become heroes has changed. Now he has a line of thinking where Deku has gotten into UA where he shouldn't be becauss All Might had a soft spot for him.

RCG

Because in the last interaction between them, Bakugo talked to Deku in a calm way for once, like a normal human being and even congratulated him for making the quirk his own. Obviously, that was before Bakugo failed the test but still, you can’t blame him for thinking that, 60 episodes later, a character would have maybe changed his attitude somewhat after just showing a new side of himself. And regarding the quirkless people part, I don’t think Bakugo even cares about quirkless people in general. It’s more about Deku, who, despite being quirkless in the past, has now reached a point where he’s seriously rivaling Bakugo or arguably has even overtaken him already.

Kai

3:53 goated Chael Sonnen reference 😭

Watch MHA vigilantes along side season 4. So you’ll be ready for season 5 👀. Optional by the way

Renden

I feel as if Vigilantes should be kept separate. It does a good job with action and animation, and the contents of Vigilantes S2 flesh out the S4 story, but IMO the character writing is terrible. All of the well-written characters from MHA felt flat and boring in Vigilantes, and would make choices that I don't think they would've normally made (for instance, drinking coffee and discussing police business in an ex-villain's shop with them actively listening and interacting). I could not finish watching the second season because I felt like it was actively detracting from MHA's (good) character writing. That might be a hot take. I'm personally not on the side of them watching Vigilantes alongside S4. Even beyond the aforementioned reasons, it slows the pace of MHA way down to randomly inject two seasons of a different show by a completely different author.

vivaan

yeah u fogot を but that’s right

eXxCeZz

left it out kinda intentionally as its only used for object marker. There's no word actually using を

vivaan

yall gotta remember they’re just kids lmfao it’s totally realistic that bakugo would want to fight in that situation especially as a teenager

RCG

I couldn’t even finish Season 1. I definitely want to go back and watch it at some point, especially since Season 2 seems to be a bit better but the whole spin-off felt so generic and everything that wasn’t connected to the main story of MHA was just flat out uninteresting to me. So I would agree. If anything, they should consider watching Vigilante afterward, maybe do a poll to see if people are even interested but that is still some time away.

Tim Tim

By the way!! I don't think I should write it under an MHA reaction, but Re:Zero is currently getting season 4, it's only two episodes out but it's already peak hahah. Maybe you could add it as one of wednesday anime's or finish some other serie!

starrk

This is so wrong bro. Bakugo is still insecure towards deku at this point of the story but to think that he's still the same guy he was in ep 1 is just wrong. Also to think that Bakugo discriminates quirkless people is wrong, he also doesn't think that Deku just got "lucky" cause allmight has a soft spot for him, he even acknowledged and praised Deku for making the power his own, and that Deku keeps leveling up (even tho he gets annoyed when he does). I hope wes and steph won't have the same read on bakugo as you do. Can't wait for them to react to next episode.

Hanan

That's fair, this is my read on the character so far and I also haven't seen the show before as I am watching along with them. So my opinion on him might change depending on next episode! I don't think he's totally irredeemable i just think he is stubborn as hell and changing his worldview will take much more than just getting beaten by Deku

starrk

I see this is your first watch of MHA. Well be patient with Bakugo. He's one of the best characters especially in the last couple of seasons. Also people around Bakugo like Eraser and also his classmates already mentioned multiple times that despite his constant shouting, he actually cares like when Kaminari noticed Bakugo intentionally used smaller blasts to avoid hurting people around him, and that he really tries hard to be a hero. So idk why people still make judgements like he's a bad person. He just really has this deep insecurities toward Deku (but he'll grow just give it time).

Ale

Yeah, but this is a hero society, killing isn’t something considered “heroic”, and it could be seen negatively by the public. It’s also something the story itself addresses in the later seasons.

LucaZ Yang

Didn't see anyone mentioning it, and maybe someone did in the previous video, but: Toga's "Presence Concealment" is *not* a quirk, it's a technique, a skill, something she learned how to do, unlike quirks which one is born with. Toga's quirk is to transform into people whose blood she ingested, and Camie's quirk is something else.

Carbon

I feel like they’ll cry next ep.

Renden

Boy do I have some news for you

Bilal Rajput

bakugo has a deeper voice than me and im in my mid 20s

mealias

Guys, can you increase the volume for MHA? 🥲 it sounds basically muted.

Shay

My cousin had a deeper voice by 12 then my (at the time) twenty year old brother

Nostalgino MO

100% cant blame todorki for not acting friendly , concidering what he went through

Billbob

Think the main reasons claimed are: 1) they want to find a way to get the stolen quirks back from him and returned to their original owners And 2) typical Japanese bureaucracy taking years to make big decisions, especially since they might not have the death penalty and would have to make an exception here. We saw in ep1 them mentioning their laws still havent fully caught up to everything quirk related despite being 5+ generations into it at this point.

H L

Yeah I think deep down the main reason I don't like this plot is because I don't like the Japanese bureaucracy

Tatsuke44

Anyway dont forget to react to mha s3 opening

priest

Solo leveling guy isn't a great baseline to judge behavior off of. He's written to be an edgy dude, disregarding heroism for the sake of creating a "cool" character. This show is about outright heroism, and killing villains doesn't inspire the masses to do good, as proven by the followers of stains ideology (spinner) becoming villains. Being capable of subduing your enemies and showing mercy is a greater show of strength and a source of inspiration, which aside from saving others, is what a hero is meant to represent.

CallMeSignal

You'd be surprised what puberty can do to someone. I didn't see my cousin for like a year or two, and after puberty, his voice dropped like 5 octaves lol. He used to sound actually a bit like Steph when he was young, like a similar vibe. But then I met him again and he sounded like a movie trailer narrator lmao.

TastedPurple

it's my first time seeing someone who thinks AFO helped All Might to transfer OFA to Deku i understand Japanese, so i don't pay much attention to subtitles but seeing your reaction made me confused, so i checked the sub and it does make it sound like that, which is a fault of the translation in Japanese, it is pretty clear Bakugo's theory is based on the fact that stealing, and giving quirk is a real thing, so transference is also within the realm of possibility
