Gotta love the double cliffhanger, the manga also ended its 4th volume the exact same way with the good boy eunni reveal and then the living statues showing up and imo its made for good pacing even if a bit frustrating. And the series does get nice and dark at times but idk, it somehow manages to keep an overall optimistic tone and not too depressing unlike some dark series that just full commit to making the viewer/reader not have a happy time. That did make it too easy to binge without needing a break as a result but oh well

I swear, every time Made in Abyss gets mentioned, the comments are always the same. There's always someone saying they shouldn't watch it because they're parents/have kids, followed by someone saying the author is a weirdo/pedo. It's crazy, literally every time.
