John Spartan

Guys don't skip this opening, it's a montage just like in season 1. There's no spoilers. That said, yay! Mushoku Tensei is back!

OD

yess!! great bday gift, thank u guys🫶🔥

Blood Shot

I think they brought back the old way of doing intros in season 1 where they give you world building and setup context. Probably don't skip

wyggles

Are you doing episodes 1 and 2 this week? They were released as a double premier.

Zio

WERE SO BAAAAAAAACK

Villenthessis

Peak Tensei is back! I've been holding off on watching the new season because I wanted to watch it with you guys. I've already finished all the novels so I'm in no rush to watch the new episodes.

A Guy

Well fuck, they skipped

Fabien

Don't skip the openings. Those are like the ones in season1, you see cool stuff actually happening, you missed her travel here.

David Z

lol I had a feeling they'd instaskip the "opening"

A Guy

For this episode and the next they go for the classic show is actively progressing during the opening song approach so don’t skip for now. We’ll let you know if proper openings come back

Oasis

We are so back. Guys, I think, if it's okay with you, I'm going to start explaining a lot of the stuff that the anime simply hasn't explained throughout this season. This season is going to be absolutely full of the history of the world and we're going to see a lot of the narrative payoffs from the earlier seasons as well. If they do it right, Season 3 may be the best season of Mushoku Tensei In terms of the history of the world, I will give it in a non-spoiler way of course. Rudeus learnt it himself whilst he was teaching Eris back in season 1, but the anime didn't have time to explain it. It won't be spoilers of course. Also, I highly advise looking at the map of Mushoku Tensei as well. This map is labelled with markings from all the major events from seasons 1 and 2 (it's not spoilers for season 3 and beyond, so don't worry): https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fcurrent-map-of-rudys-life-so-far-v0-ifr8q11ed4mb1.png%3Fwidth%3D1080%26crop%3Dsmart%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D4463a284ed6e5f85b46dae43bb60f54ab54b708a If you want, below is a quick recap of the first season (without spoilers, of course): Jobless bum misses his parents funeral to jerk off and is kicked out of his house by his brother. He tries to save a group of teens (2 boys, 1 girl - Nanahoshi) from being run over by a truck but gets hit instead and dies. Reincarnated into the "Six-Faced World" (which was mentioned once by the Man-God in one of the episodes). Born as Rudeus Greyrat, son of Zenith and Paul Greyrat in Buena Village in the Asura Kingdom (left side of the map). Grows up learning magic. Tutored by a demon called Roxy Migurdia of the Migurd Demon Tribe. Learns about the Superd. Saves a green haired boy from getting bullied. Turns out to be a girl - Sylphiette (Sylphie). Paul cheats on Zenith with Lilia the Maid. Paul has 2 daughters - Norn and Aisha. Rudy wants to go to the Ranoa Magic Academy with Sylphie so Paul forces him into a job tutoring Eris Boreas Greyrat, Lady of the Fittoa region of Asura. She's a jerk, at first, but after a kidnapping plan gone wrong she respects Rudy and learns magic, and basic skills from him, alongside Ghislaine. Rudy simultaneously learns about the history of this world as well as Demon Tongue and Beast Tongue languages. Teleportation Incident (happens due to Nanahoshi coming into the world) happens after Rudy, Eris and Ghislaine get attacked by Almanfi, one of Perugius' 12 summoned servants - Perugius being a famous hero in his castle in the sky. Eris and Rudy get teleported to the Demon Continent. Rudy meets Man-God for the first time who advises him to trust Ruijerd, a Superd. Ruijerd takes them to the Migurd village where it's revealed that the Demon God Laplace (who Perugius sealed away) tricked the Superd into taking cursed spears as a gift - driving them mad and killing their own families and allies. Ruijerd swears to take Eris and Rudy home in order to improve their reputation. They become adventurers in Rikarisu, before leaving. They go to Wind Port where Rudy gets the Demon Eye of Forsight from Kishirika Kishirisu, the Demon Empress (at the advice of the Man God). They go by smugglers to the Milis Continent. Ruijerd saves beast children getting kidnapped. Rudy attempts to save a dog, the Beastkins' "Sacred Beast" before getting arrested. He meets Geese in prison and the village is attacked by the smugglers. Rudy saves the Beastkin, killing the smuggler boss (a North Saint - his sword school being that of the North God Style). He gets his reputation cleared and has to wait out the Rainy Season with the Beastkin. Eris gets close to two Beastgirls, the sisters of Linia and Pursena. They make their way to Milis Holy Kingdom where Paul and Rudy reunite. They have a fight about how Rudy took it easy adventuring (I'm sure you remember). They make up. Eris, meanwhile, meets Cliff Grimoire who falls in love with her at first sight. He's involved in a lot of politics in the Milis Holy Kingdom so no spoilers yet. Just know that he's important there. Rudy rescues Lilia and Aisha from the Shirone Kingdom where we meet Pax Shirone (former student of Roxy and a grade-A weirdo) and Zanoba Shirone (a Blessed Child with near indestructability and super strength - obsessed with art and figurines). Rudy gets out of there with the promise of taking Zanoba as his student and the situation gets resolved. As punishment, the King of Shirone sends both Zanoba and Pax as students to different nations as punishment. *Rudy meets Orsted for the first time who almost kills him as he's an apostle of the Man-God. Orsted recognised Ruijerd and Eris and seemed to know about Rudy's two sisters as well, but didn't know Rudy. Nanahoshi speaks up and saves Rudy because she suspects that Rudy is from Japan, an "Otherworlder" like herself. Orsted heals Rudy and leaves. Eris gets a massive inferiority complex because she couldn't do anything to save Rudy, who at least managed to put up a fight.* They make it back to Fittoa which is a wasteland. Eris meets with Ghislaine again and sleeps with Rudy before leaving, believing she has to better herself before standing by Rudy. Eris and Ghislaine go to the Sword Sanctuary/Sword Sanctum/Holy Land of Swords (different translations call it different things. It's all the same place) to train. That's where this episode starts. Let me know if you'd like a recap of Season 2 as well. Sorry if it was long, but there's so much to Mushoku Tensei's story and world and the author absolutely loves setting up things which will be relevant later.

Vincent Lee

I haven’t seen this comment yet so I’ll add it. Rankings - beginner - intermediate - advanced - saint - king - emperor - god Different sword styles - sword god - water god - north god

mimiyowa

I smelt the insta-skip.. this is MT guys.. adventuring sections.. (Season two was an exception) but oof. Part of the journey that you spoke of was actually shown in the opening ^^

mimiyowa

So just a refresher but when they call someone a "North Emperor" or a "Sword King" they don't mean royalty. There is a mastery system in Mushoku Tensei for different levels of skill in either magic or sword fighting. The system goes as follows: Beginner: Basic level, learned by any standard student. Intermediate: Requires foundational practice and basic spellcasting/stances. Advanced: Shows considerable proficiency. Saint (or Sacred): Marks the mastery of a style. In magic, allows for large-scale, destructive regional spells. King (or Royal): An expert-level rank, usually associated with high-ranking military commanders or elite mercenaries. Emperor (or Imperial): Mastery over catastrophic, army-wiping techniques. Only a handful of fighters globally reach this level. God (or Divine): The pinnacle of human achievement. Denotes a grandmaster of a style who has pioneered their own techniques. (Usually only 1 person gets to be called a god of their craft) If you remember season 1, Paul was advanced in all 3 sword styles being the Sword, Water and North styles. Our little Rudy was a Water Magic Saint at just age 5.

The Anime Dude

Reminder on the Ranking Systems in Mushoku: (for magic & sword stuff they use the same titles basically) 1. Beginner 2. Intermediate 3. Advanced 4. Saint 5. King 6. Emperor 7. God For sword styles there are 3 most prominent: Sword God Style (Offensively focused, sword of light usually ends things quick, Eris/Ghislaine’s style they’re training in.) Water God Style: Defensively focused. North God Style: think Jackie Chan, usually some underhanded tricks involved but basically it’s more unorthodox & just doing whatever they can to grasp at victory. (Peacock emperor dude from this episode used this style) Strongest in each style has the title/ranking of “God” for it, there’s usually at most a couple of emperor ranked & a handful of king ranked tops for each style - or something to that effect.

Ryne

If Gal had hit Eris directly, she'd have been cut in half. He sent her flying with just the force of his swing. The Sword Sanctum (where Eris is training) is the headquarters of the Sword God style. Think of this as a gathering place for some of the greatest swordsmen in the world. The two kids Eris beat are better at Sword God than Paul (Rudeus's dad) was. The biggest difference between Eris and the others, outside of her ferocity, is the sheer experience she gained traveling with Rudeus and Ruijerd. As I'm sure others have said and you more or less figured out, Auber isn't an Emperor in the sense of having an empire. The tiers of magic and swordsmanship go from Beginner-> Intermediate-> Advanced-> Saint-> King-> Emperor/Imperial-> God/Divine. He's an Emperor of the North God style of swordsmanship. I really love how they do the Blade of Light/Longsword of Light in the anime. The idea behind the technique is that the blade is actually moving at the speed of light, embodying the idea that a second strike isn't needed because it will cut through anything. It's the key technique of the Sword God Style and the reason it's so formidable.

Oasis

I'm going to try and comment on every episode trying to fill in the gaps where the anime missed out, especially from seasons 1 and 2

Oasis

THIS!!!

Oasis

THIS IS IMPORTANT TOO

Dragons like Bananas

Just a quick reminder/recap of the sword styles. There's 3 sword styles divided into 7 ranks The 3 styles are Sword God : offensive /speed and strength Water God : defensive/counter attacks North God : anything goes/"underhanded tricks" The styles have a rock paper Scissors relationship ,Water>sword>North>Water water God's defense blocks sword God , North God's tricks get past water God and sword God's speed gets past north God . The ranks are Beginner Intermediate Advanced Saint King Emperor God beginner/intermediate are the highest most people can get to

Omer Durrani

So happy to see Mushoku Tensei back!! Hoping we have a double reaction next week since this week was a double premiere to stay caught up and openings are perfectly fine to watch!! Looking forward to all the amazing reactions incoming!!

Just Mav

Do Not - I REPEAT - DO NOT(!!!) Skip the intro! It's similar to Season 1, when the intro is incorporated into the episode itself! So you skip parts of the episode itself if you skip the intro!

Oasis

The second episode came out with the first one. Also, in the books, we got Eris' POV alongside Rudeus' from the moment they separated. The anime just changed it up so that all of Eris' chapters are together.

A.G

There are 3 styles, Sword north and water. Each style has 7 ranks, magic also follows the same ranks, remember Roxy is a "king class water mage" rudeus by this point in the story is emperor class in earth magic

Kindyh Bordat

I think you guys should react to episode 2 this week too.

A.G

Idk if you guys remember from season 1 but it was mentioned that there are stones that display the 7 great powers, basically the strongest people in the world. The stone said 1. Technique God 2. Dragon God 3. Fighting God 4. Demon God 5. Death God 6. Sword God 7. North God So the sword God we see here is supposed to be the 6th strongest guy in the world

Kindyh Bordat

GINO THE GOAT MENTIONED XD. If only you guys knew XD

Indigo

Would hate you guys to be a week behind. They released a double drop for the season release!

Zak

We are so back❤️

Mario Prime Plays

It’s funny that while Eris is learning these different sword styles, Rudy is battling his ED and depression at this time.

Fukayo

In this episode, her first line is "I got Rudeus as a present for my 15th birthday," and it ends with her saying "I'm the swordfighter, he's the mage." I don't remember the context, but at some point in the light novel they make a "joke" about how in this world there's the classic RPG cliché of "mage + swordfighter = couple" (hinting at Paul and Zenith). I really like attention to detail like this. They had to cut things from the light novel, obviously, but they still manage to sneak some in.

Tim Tim

So you guys just remember how ranking of power works, there is beginner, intermediate, advanced, saint, king, emperor and finally god. There can be only one "god" it's top tier of the rank. Emperor is next to that, so North Emperor is really strong. Many people don't even see any King level people in their life, so there isn't even many "Kings". Ghislaine is king level swordsman, Paulo were Saint level swordsman, Rudeus is able to use king-emperor level of magic, especially water which he specialises in

EddyTheMoza

Thx I just saw your comment, I can’t wait to nerd out and over explain things with you while also keeping it spoiler free! 😁

Leandro Calderón

Damn, no episode 2 this week? Anyway great reaction as always, you guys are some of the best Mushoku Tensei Reactors.

Gavern

For scaling purposes: Ruijerd is considered an 'Emperor' tiered fighter. Which tells you how badass Auber is.

DocGreen

Think with Paul is him being advanced in all three with his experience made equal to that of a saint level swordsman. You also don't see a lot of king level swordsmen is because most who reach king tend to advance to emperor naturally because they are so committed to that life.

RCG

Since a lot of people commented on the ranks, I am kind of curious. Deciding who gets the God rank seems somewhat simple. It is basically whoever is the strongest. But who decides the other ranks, especially King and Emperor? There are apparently only a scant few of them. Does the God rank holder decide who gets those ranks? In the case of the Sword God, we see that he is teaching others, so he could potentially be the one who determines the rankings (Eris got her Saint title from him). But if that were not the case, who would decide the ranks? I mean, it is not very likely that every God title holder would also be a teacher or even be interested in ranking others.

DocGreen

Just in case it gets confusing God in this world not only refers to rank in this but it also refers to swordmsmship style and language. For instance the language they mostly show us speaking is human God but their is also beast god demon god sea god sky god and dragon god. There is also fighting god which was skipped in season 2. Rudeus knows 4 of these languages in addition to japanese

Gavern

For each of the different sword styles, they have different prerequisites for advancing. I don't remember how for the other two, but to become a Sword Saint they need to learn the 'Sword of Light'. To become a Sword King i believe they just need to get good enough for the Sword God to just say they're a King now. For Sword Emperor, two Sword Kings must duel and the winner advances to become and Emperor. And to become Sword God you just need to beat the current Sword God as a practitioner of the Sword God style. I would assume the other schools have similar ways to advance. The magic schools work by just learning specific spells. Like how Rudy became a Water Saint by learning Cumulonimbus in the beginning of the series.

DocGreen

Well Beginner is self explanatory Intermediate is where have you mastered the fundamentals Advanced is when you've developed a battle aura. It's the thing that allows people in this world cut down rock with a wooden sword and allowed Eris to block aubers sword with her wrist Saint is where you have mastered the blade of light King you have to have mastered your battle aura and a battle between 2 saints needs to be witnessed by emperor or current sword god Emperor you have to beat another sword king to be emperor God you have beat the current sword god For water god it's mostly the same For North God you have to essentially develop your own style to reach the higher tiers

RCG

That's actually confusing lol. I get the name for the rank or even a certain fighting style but what's the point of adding "God" to every language? Why not just say he speaks Human,Beast, Demon etc.? Why would you say he speaks Human God,Beast God, Demon God etc.? If you add God to everything, you can basically leave it out, no?

RCG

Okay, okay, that makes sense. You have to achieve certain feats, gotcha. Even though Eris got her Saint title before she could do the "Sword/Blade of Light," I guess that was an exception since she was basically already stronger than the other Saints but never trained the proper way and thus never learned that skill.

DocGreen

To become North God is another hole can of worms and would be spoilers technically. Also to become water god you have to master secret techniques of that style. Whoever masters the most becomes the water god essentially

NoSoupRice

I think it's just world building stuff. There is "God" after cause they are named after the gods of each race i guess, but also I imagine it's to differentiate from Beast (the race) and Beast (the language) though it at first it seems a bit counterproductive since now they have to differentiate between the language and the rank.

NoSoupRice

Poor Ghislaine with a nose 10x the sensitivity of a normal person having to share a room with Eris who spends her time exercising in the wilderness and never bathes

Jack Witt

Well, according to Man-God, Orsted could destroy the world if it wasn't for his curses. Also, according to the author, Ruijerd is the equivalent of a North Emperor.

Sergey (Horn)

Thank you for the video! I really enjoy your thoughts and discussions. Gino Britts is one of the most enjoyable characters in this arc; as you noted, unlike the others, he truly has a realistic view of Eris. "It's cheating" — yes, a sword with a metal core was cheating, which is why Nina was surprised when she was given one instead of a solid wooden one. Whoever gave her the sword wanted Nina to kill Eris for insulting the Sword God and his school. And Nina strove for this.

Holy Arathi

I was so excited when I saw this season start with 2 episodes. I’m super excited to see where we go.

Sergey (Horn)

When the Sword God says Ghyslaine is a "toothless kitten," he's meaning Ghyslaine has become "soft" due to her affection for Eris. She no longer strives for the greatest power, she has no energy to grow her skills (this is his opinion). This is further explored in the light novel. He also finds it amusing that the students at his school think he's judging them for being overly aggressive, but he's judging them for their inability to profit from that aggression, not for the aggression itself.

Holy Arathi

I was excited to see that. I never skipped an opening because it was always world building or characterization in some way.

Sergey (Horn)

It's important to understand the fundamental difference between the styles. This is not directly explained in the anime. The Sword God Style — direct attacks with extreme power and speed. The Water God Style — defense and counterattacks, designed to counter the Sword God Style. The Northern God Style — surprise attacks, unexpected techniques, and doesn't necessarily use a sword, unlike the other two styles. It can also employ various devices — bombs, nets, camouflage, and so on. By itself, it's weaker than the other styles, but only if the opponent knows what techniques are available to you and how you'll use them. It doesn't have the same power and speed as the Sword God Style, nor does it have the unrivaled defense of the Water God Style. You can notice that when Ghyslaine enters the room where the North Emperor is sitting, her nose twitches. Because even his scent is unusual; he uses it as a distraction, and Ghyslaine and other beastmen are particularly sensitive to scents, as we were already shown in the battle scene in the forest, when slavers tried to kidnap children, and the smoke from the fire prevented the beastmen from fighting effectively.

Eureka

Yessssss

Eureka

Thank you

Sergey (Horn)

Rankings of the characters we've already met, without spoilers: - Beginner/Elementary - Luke Notos Greyrat Beginner of Water God Style. Eris Boreas Greyrat and Ghislaine is Fire Elementary Mage rank. - Intermediate - Luke Notos Greyrat is Intermediate of Sword God Style. - Advanced - Paul mastered all three sword styles to an Advanced level. Cliff Grimoire, when he first met Rudeus in Season 2, had advanced rank in all forms of magic except barrier magic. - Saint - Roxy was the Water Saint Mage when she first met Rudy. Gallus Cleaner, leading the slave traders during the battle in the Great Forest, he held the rank of North Saint in the North God Style. - King - Roxy is Water King Mage rank. Ghislaine is Sword King in the Sword God Style. - Emperor - "Peacock Sword" Auber is North Saint in the Noth God Style. Ruijerd (approximate strength based on indirect evidence). Rudeus, according to Badigadi, during the battle with him, had the power of an Emperor level, despite using a "regular" rock bullet (Stone Cannon spell). - God - Orsted

Eureka

You don’t want to mess with eris

Eureka

Nina tried to cheat hiding steel in wood sword

Billbob

Yeah, that whole rainbow then black+white with red/blue art style is showing them using the Sword of Light technique which is just an extremely high speed attack. And if you remember back to episode 5 or 6 of season 1 when Eris got kidnapped, Ghislaine killed the kidnappers with that same art style since she used the technique back then too since she's a Sword King and thats their style's ultimate technique in a way

Tatsuke44

Can you do 2 episode for next week to catch up? since episode 1 and 2 come as a bundle. Maybe you can do episode 2 and 3 for next week pwease 🙏

Zachary Fewins

When Gal Farrion says Jino is “the youngest” what he means is he is the youngest sword saint, EVER. Eris beat them really quick, but Jino and Nina are incredibly talented, especially Jino. Jino is just much less passionate about this stuff compared to Eris and Nina.

Gelondil

I don't think this needed to be explained directly. Between this and the next episode, I think the visual storytelling (and the episode dialogue) makes it pretty clear how the fighting styles work. I haven't read the manga, this is based only on these two episodes. So have faith in W&S to figure these things out themselves. Then, AFTER the episodes are over, if they still seem confused, we can help, but they haven't even SEEN Water God style, yet. :D

Tom

Lets gooooooooo!!!!!

RCG

To be fair, it was the guy who gave her the sword but she clearly realized it as soon as she felt the weight and went along with it, so she's definitely not innocent.

Eureka

Exactly

Gelondil

I don't think this interpretation is correct at all, as it's not reflected in the dialogue. After he calls Ghislaine a "toothless kitten" he laments that he didn't train her correctly, and that he's done "pulling teeth". In other words, he thinks Ghislaine is less feral because of his training style, because he "pulled her teeth", a result he now regrets. Her behavior with Eris is not the cause of this, nor is he saying it is. This is the exact reason he's not training Eris the same way: he wants Eris to stay wild, like Ghislaine was when he first met her, and not quench her passions (pulling teeth) like he did with Ghislaine.

Sergey (Horn)

I agree, that's the picture that emerges from the anime. It's hard to say whether the authors decided to change this character trait in the anime compared to the light novel, or whether they failed to convey it correctly. That's why I described the light novel version as the primary source. If you only watch the anime, you're right (and you don't necessarily need to remember the source material; they don't have to be identical). But there's an important "BUT." Most of the characters in the anime completely replicate the personality and behavior of the light novel, but in many places, they do so much more vaguely than in the source material. Therefore, I already view many plot points and lines through this prism of "distrust" of the authors.

Sergey (Horn)

It's not the strongest example, but one that I remember: Roxy, when first meeting Rudy's parents and Rudy himself, says that "many stupid parents think their children are geniuses" (not a verbatim quote, I'm writing this from memory), and she says this OUT LOUD in front of potential employers. As a result, not only Rudy but also Zenith reacts to these words. In the original, she says this barely audibly, and no one but Rudy notices it. This changes the mood of the scene and the perception of Roxy's character, especially considering we later learn that Roxy was close to despair and needed this job. As a result, the anime portrays a more foolish/frivolous girl.

Sergey (Horn)

You right, Water God Style technique is more or less explained in the second episode. Almost nothing is said about North God; the anime only makes it clear that he's "different" from the others and uses some tricks (but it's unclear what the fundamental difference is). Unfortunately, this is where the anime misses the basic knowledge that Rudy has been aware of since childhood, when Paul taught him.

Gelondil

I was curious about this, as Gal Farion's use of the metaphor "toothless kitten" and "pulling teeth" is such a specific and distinct thing to say, it seems strange that the anime writers would have written it themselves. After checking the light novel, though, this scene is virtually unchanged from the LN. From dialogue, to Gal Farion pulling a sword, to Auber being present, it's essentially identical. Which leaves me to wonder, where does this alternative interpretation actually come from? You say that, in the LN, Farion thinks Ghislaine was tamed by Eris, but this scene seemingly says otherwise. Does he change his attitude later in the story? But if so, isn't you saying this now, in episode 1, a bit spoilery? I was also curious about the changes you described in the Roxy scene. But again, I'm just not seeing much difference from the LN. In both the anime and the LN, Roxy grumbles under her breath about geniuses while standing right in front of Paul and Zenith. In both examples, it's loud enough to be heard and understood by Rudy. In both examples it was foolish for her to say, which is why Rudy scolds her in his internal monologue. The anime doesn't change Roxy's behavior at all, nor is the mood of the scene changed (mood is pretty subjective in the LN to begin with). It just answers the question the LN glosses over: do Paul or Zenith hear this grumbling? As a visual medium, the anime has to make this distinction that the LN didn't, and it's an opportunity to put a little light humor in there as well. As you said "they don't have to be identical".

Nekoda

It’s so cool to see Eris do the Sword of Light attack, it’s the very same as the one Ghislaine did in season 1 ep 5

Sergey (Horn)

In the scene with Roxy, the key difference is Zenith's lack of reaction to her words. It's this detail that changes the perception of the scene.

Sergey (Horn)

I can't find any direct quotes from Gal Farion on this topic. It's possible this is a bit of a spoiler — a combination of his various thoughts and statements, including later ones. My apologies.

Sergey (Horn)

There's also a slight chance these are changes between the web novel and the light novel. I initially read the web version several times, and then the light novel came out, and my perceptions of both sources are mixed. For example, Gallus Cleaner, the North Saint who attacked the beastmen in the Great Forest with the slave smugglers, in the web novel not mentioned as North Saint. The smuggler character is there, but he plays a much more minor role, looks different, acts different, and if I remember correctly, we don't even know his name.

Sergey (Horn)

P.S: As with "Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?", in "Mushoku Tensei" the web version it seems to me is better than the light novel. While the light novel fixes some of the web version's problems, it unfortunately removes many interesting moments and makes the characters a little less lifelike. Although in Mushoku Tensei the differences between the versions are not that great (in Kumo the events and characters are RADICALLY different in some cases).

Æsir

When I see Eris, I see a 15 year old, who, a pampered noble girl, was suddenly transported into a hostile environment. Who could only depend on one person, and that one person she loved and adored and that one person that was just too great. And then I see her see that fantasy absolutely crushed when Orsted comes and almost kills the untouchable. Shattering the myth of invincibility. Water is wet, sun is hot, and Rudeus is invincible, that is how it is, right?? NO... Rudeus helps everyone, but who helps him. Worse, she battles through hell and back, only to return to what... learning that her parents are dead, her grandpa executed, her nobile house in ruins, and herself... about to be married off... She returned to NOTHING... She has nothing.. A 15 (or 16) year old girl, returning to absolutely nothing. She only had Rudeus... and SAUD RUDEUS... who was invincible, was almost killed by Orsted. We expect far too much rationality from an underage, who had to go through hell at a upu ger age, who lost EVERYONE she held dear everything, and had to see her "God", her LOVE... almost DIE
