Actuarial Lurker

Considered one of the best episodes of the series even though it was essentially a "bottle" episode with Christopher and Paulie just wandering the NJ woods to save on budget costs

So Tony doesn't want to put 2+2 together when Melfi basically tells him that by dating Gloria he is basically dating his own Mother Livia

Right? It's pretty fascinating the extent to which he refused to understand what she was clearly saying to him.

It was really well-done, both the A and B stories (Tony's dysfunctional affair). I feel like there is a lot of insight here in to what might be Paulie's inevitable downfall later in the series.

Steve Buscemi received an Emmy nomination for directing this episode.

“He killed 16 Czechoslovakians…he was an interior decorator.” “His house looked liked shit.” Maybe one of the greatest lines in one of the greatest (and funniest) episode of the show.

Also yes, Bobby is the best and sweetest character on the entire show!!! I love him
