I've only watched this season up until episode 3 then I decided to wait until the whole season was out. I was not thrilled on the idea of reopening the series because the original 3 seasons were such a perfect and complete story. I had some hope when I heard season 4 has been written with a new 3 season arc and Tanya Reynolds was joining the cast who I loved in Sex Education (Which you guys should watch) so I tried to come in with an open mind, Personally I felt like they wasted the entire first episode, it did not hook me at all. Then coming into this episode one of my biggest fears with reopening this feels like it's been realised- Rebecca was maybe my favourite character in the original show and I was so, so concerned what they might do with her since like so many of the other cast her story felt complete. I was worried they would have to untie some stuff and have her regress to continue. She felt like a complete caricature of herself in this episode, and I really dislike how she’s been acting towards Keeley. I’m Irish and all I can say is the introduction of Niamh and Siobhan was insulting and ridiculously stereotypical- they also completely missed the opportunity to make an Irish twins joke. So far I’m still undecided if I’m going to pretend the show ended at season 3 or not.

I'm enjoying this season with y'all! The show does feel a bit more "exaggerated" than seasons 1 through 3, but I'm having a blast.
