Wooo, been looking out for this all day, I’m so excited! YAY! Let’s do it.

This is such a great episode, isn't it? I enjoyed your reaction a lot (as always). One moment that always gets me is Patrick's revelation that this was his first kiss with a guy. After all his usual assurance (and sarcasm), to see him so vulnerable in that moment is really touching. And it says something for David's increasing sensitivity that he sensed something like that and understood that he would have to take the lead right then. Such a beautifully written scene. (And, may I say, very true to life... that hesitant yet eager first step.)

“This show is so sentimental.” 💜 “I like that they’re focusing on small, intimate moments.” Couldn’t agree more! I love this finale because it really shows how far the show has come, and — as you guys said — morphed as both audience and creators lived with the show and its increasing popularity. This is one of those pieces of media that you tell people about and find yourself (or at least myself) saying, “It’s all funny, but stick with it and I’m telling you it WILL make you cry and you’ll have capital F Feelings about it.”

Ahh its here! I am so glad you two got a fun taste of the "are they also gay or are they just nice" test every LGBTQ person deals with all the time.

I loved how vulnerable he was. It truly was a great intimate scene. Can't wait to see the two of them together again.

We're already there! After the season 2 finale, we care about them as individuals! Not just characters in the show. That is how brilliant this was.

Yes, I think you guys should react to New Girl, such a fun show!

I relate so much to Patrick as someone who came out later in life. It's not that it isn't still a big thing to process, but you're a whole adult and it's just... gentler. You have tools to manage difficulties in the relationships that are affected (family, etc.) and you have lived and learned enough to know when you're feeling something genuine. It can be surprising and challenging, of course, but there's just a lot less drama for someone at Patrick's point in life. He likes David, and he is clear that it's new but it isn't making him insecure and upset about "not being who he thought he was".
