The whole sequence of Moira’s “confession” is one of my favorite bits of hers. If you ask me, it has some of her most fun line deliveries. And then the social manipulation of Patrick re: tea and scone, which is simultaneously endearing and diabolical!💜

I'm so glad that only one night passed between seasons, so we get to see David & Patrick's lovely, perfect "morning after." The first time I saw it, I felt like it was everything I could have asked for. Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy have been working together since the 1970s! They were both part of the Canadian comedy scene then, specifically the Canadian branch of the Chicago improv-comedy theater, Second City. And they starting making its TV derivative, SCTV, in 1976 (alongside other comedy greats like John Candy), which continued into the 1980s. I would recommend you watch some of their episodes, but they're inexplicably not streaming anywhere, and can be found only on DVD.

Yay I got a shout out, even if you couldnt remember my name lol! You two should absolutely watch Catherine O'hara and Eugene Levy's other work together, particularly Best In Show, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind. All are hysterical mockumentary style comedies by Lord Christopher Guest (also Jamie Lee Curtis' husband)

Those are all good choices. I wonder if Joe and Kevin know those already; they're clearly already fans of both actors and know they have a history. (But being really into minutiae of terms of nobility address, I have to insist that he's either Christopher Guest or Lord Haden-Guest -- we can't use the first name and the title at the same time. On the other hand with honors like Sir or Dame, we MUST use the first name along with the title -- we can say Dame Judi or Dame Judi Dench, but never Dame Dench. I just love stuff like that....)

One of my most quoted moments in the whole series is, “I’m positively bedeviled with meetings, et cerera.” I use that one as often as I can 😆

Oooh, spotted the "React Band of Brothers" tab ;) Have you ever watch it or are you considering to watch, bc it's amaaaazing ! I'm excited as well to see you discover this season 4, it's also my favorite and you'll see why. Have a great ride !

"Who doesn't want to go outside? But it's also important to cherish what's going on inside. It’s times like these that remind one of the fact that we’re all still alive. Don’t you dare take that for granted. One day you’re asking for an anti-inflammatory the next day you’ve passed away in your sleep! The point being: no one knows when we’re going to die! …or be implicated in and then suddenly cleared of somebody else’s death. So! So, drink up, go outside, and live your lives.” 🤣🤣

One of the things I truly love about Schitt's Creek is how well they portray LGBTQ+ storylines, as a gay man I have found too many shows that either make it overly sexual, tradgic or just a cliche. I run a LGBTQ+ support group and we will have Schitt's Creek wach alongs. I think David and Patrick are my favourite male couple. Great reaction looking forward to being on this journey with you guys

Right? A lesser show would be very showy and over sentimental. This presents it as totally normal and not a big deal at all.

Having just started rereading Agatha Christie's "The Body in the Library," which begins with a housekeeper rushing into her employers' bedroom screaming "There's a body in the library!" ... I truly appreciate that "The Dead Guy in Room 4" begins with Stevie coming to the Roses' doors saying "There's a dead guy in room 4." Exactly what it says on the tin.
