This was a weird episode for sure. I definitely get the feeling that they weren't expecting to get bumped up to 18 episodes instead of 15, so they had to stretch in a few places. That would explain why this episode only had one real musical number (plus Derek's mustache lullaby).

Good work on identifying the source of "Trapped in a Car" -- it's The Complete History of The Beach Boys, in 3 Parts, which I adore as a weird and unexpected idea. I love watching you guys predict future developments. :)

I am sorry, but she needed a break from intensive therapy like conversation, which she disclosed up front with Daryl and he agreed to, yet he spent the entire trip acting like her therapist trying to do emotional deep dives. And it is a bit ridiculous how everyone always shits on Rebecca (I get she is a crappy garbage person, I do) yet no one ever give Paula a hard time for being as bad (if not worse). Paula was mean and rude to Daryl all the time yet he never called her out on it, he just continued to be kind and friendly to her and accepted her bi***iness. Nathaniel had no obligation to disclose something so personal to someone who openly stated she did not like him.
