Yes, Patrick reacted in a silly way, but I find it fun that he isn't ALWAYS the voice of reason and David the overdramatic one. I like Patrick to have his flaws too. One of my favorite bits in this delightful episode is the overlapping lines after David reminds his parents that "our nursery was in a separate wing of the house." Moira responds "I'm a light sleeper" simultaneously with Johnny explaining "It was a design flaw." (Get your stories straight!)

You’re so right! This was a really fun, ultimately lighthearted, way to remind us that Patrick isn’t ALWAYS perfect. Which, of course, just makes him even more lovable.

I think it's logical that Stevie doesn't want to have any romance with one of the Schitt's Creek residents. She knows everyone in the town, she grew up with them, went to school with them, maybe she basically dated or kissed 75% of the guys and she knows them already outside of their good-lookings XD Stevie is too smart and too cynical for any of them, she wants better and it never 'clicked' for now. And given she doesn't go out of town that much, nor meet a lot of nice strangers...
