You’re at the point in the show where you’ll have your favorite characters and the ones you dislike. Everyone has their favorites—people they love and people they hate—and that’s fine. Let Sean decide for himself whether he grows to like Sam or not. Maybe ease up on shoving it down his throat a bit 😅 Oh, and Theon didn’t kill Maester Luwin; he did, however, kill the farmer’s two orphan children and betray Robb. Cool t-shirt, Mike 👍😁

This season and next season are among the highest rated seasons of any show in TV history, buckle up. I love the reactions guys. Mikey, feel better. Sean, I hope you trip and land on a bag of D's for how you treat wonderful Sam. And one more thing I found interesting about the quality of acting and singling out Shae... her acting experience is... how can I say this.... "interesting". She has other "professional" work in her acting resume before GoT. Seriously though Sean, Sam is a treasure.

I think Jaime respects Brienne now. She treated him well as a prisoner and didn't harm him. She also wouldn't give up his name so easily to their captures. It's about time Jaime started acting decent.

Omg it’s easy to forget with all the action going on in this episode but 2 scenes in this are some of my favorite in the season, if not the whole series. The scene in the beginning with Edmure missing the shot 3 times with the bow & arrow and the small council meeting with the chairs. What do they have in common?? Both scenes tell a lot about characters and drive the story forward, yet there is zero dialogue. It’s the purest definition of telling a story without exposition or explaining. Peak filmmaking.. Maybe Tywin doesn’t trust Varys. Maybe he is ruling by fear. This is such a great episode. Thank the gods for Pod the Rod. (I’ve heard other people calling him that) lol Feel better, Mike!! Gunk is definitely going around.

2026-10-16 06:00 I’ll say this about Sam. Right now, and since he has been introduced, he’s completely out of his depth. He can’t hang. BUT this is also very important for him because he’s on an information gathering journey and as soon as he gets back to his element, a library, he’s the one who starts piecing together aspects of the plot for us as a viewer. Sam will eventually be the one who has all of the different puzzle pieces we have across multiple different stories and pieces them together to create the big picture

When you were asking about Melisandre saying that Stannis’ fires burn low, it was about his ability to help her create another shadow monster. In order for Melisandre to do that, she needs to have sex with a man. And it is a bit of his life force that is used to create that shadow monster. He was asking her to do that again with him, because he wants Joffrey and Robb Stark killed. But she was telling him that he didn’t have a strong enough life force at the moment to do that. She said it would kill him. But she has some other ideas in mind, which is why she left.

The shock and horror on Mikey's face of Jaime's hand being cut off transitioning to a smile listening to the punk rock version of The Bear and the Maiden Fair in the credits is hilarious

The tears were flowing as soon as the last scene started with Brienne and Jaime. I love Brienne so very much. Immediately followed by laughter with seeing the shock of Jaime losing his hand and of course the punk rock song. Amazing reaction to the best show ever once again. Thank you both.

By the time the show is comfy-loud, you guys get a little in the speakers/headphones. Maybe I'm the only one, but thought I'd mention it. It's not just this episode, but in general.
