Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you watched Wayne's World 2 (1993). I also agree that I enjoyed the first movie better. As always, party on.

One of the problems with the sequel was the new director is an a*hole who badmouthed the first one calling it a dumb movie, and wanted to make this one ironic like, 'yeah we know this is dumb let's laugh along at it'; Mike Myers only seemed to be there because it was in his contract; Dana Carvey rescued the movie bringing his A-game

Happy Friday and "Party on", Addie! 😊 I agree. While this one isn't as great(in my opinion) as the first one, this is still a fun movie. I do love the first movie better. I do love the Aerosmith cameo appearance. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Yep, this one wasn't bad but no where near as good as the first. - One reference you probably missed, there was a commercial that was in heavy rotation for years for Calgon. That's where the "ancient Chinese secret" line came from. Is Calgon even a thing anymore? - The sequence with the wedding is a reference to The Graduate (1967), starring Dustin Hoffman. You should add it to your list of movies to watch. - You can YouTube the SNL Aerosmith appearance on Wayne's World. They get the band to sing the theme song. It was indeed party time, and excellent!

Wayne's World II does what sequels often do which is remind you of all the things you enjoyed about watching the original but not doing them as well

Decent movie, 7/10. 🙂 I'm with Addie though, this one feels a little more hit or miss than the first one.

Not that it's new to everyone else, but I haven't seen this movie in a long while, so it wasn't until today I noticed Bob Odenkirk in the movie.

Talking about Cicero no less!

Aye, agreed that it is missing the "magic" that the first one had. I think the thing with the references is that in the first film, if you didn't get a reference the joke still landed on its own. Whereas in this film, if you don't get the reference the joke doesn't work. I still enjoy it, but it's just "a good movie" as opposed to "a GREAT TIME!".
