Here's the full length reaction to Andor 2x9 ("Welcome to the Rebellion"). This batch of episodes was already so emotional, so now I'm SCARED to see what will happen in the final three episodes! Don't worry, at the end I looked up who I didn't recognize in that one Vel scene... I can't believe I didn't recognize him! Only three episodes left :( Enjoy!

This arc is really powerful Can’t wait to watch your reaction Addie!

Mon Mothma became a legend for this speech “The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil” epic line and so true, it applies to our world today

Randee Carreno

My favorite episode of the season. Love Mon Mothma's speech.

Simon

PLEASE do a reaction to Rogue One at the end of this season. It’s the ‘true’ final episode.

Joseph Olson

“Welcome to the Rebellion” was the perfect response to Mon Mothma saying “I’m not sure I can do this” after seeing Cassian kill the ISB agent who infiltrated Bail Organs’s extraction team. If you didn’t notice, she was Jung’s agent, so Lonni came through again.

Adrian Duenas

Addie’s already reacted to Rogue One. I’m sure she’ll revisit it but probably on her own

Simon

It’s a completely different experience watching Rogue One immediately after finishing Andor; I’d watch that reaction from Addie.

I’m SO glad Genevieve O’Reilly got a second chance to play Mon Mothma after her scenes in Ep. III were cut. She really brings depth to a character we hardly knew in Ep. VI

Bill Rudd

Please consider a Patron-only rewatch of Rogue One after this 🤞🤞

To expand on the Melshi thing, here's the full sequence of events leading up to that. In S1E3, Cassian gets the drop on Syril and steals his pistol. The pistol has conspicuous Preox-Morlana corporate security markings on it. Cassian brings the pistol with him to Aldhani, where Skeen steals it for inspection while Cass is sleeping and notes the Preox-Morlana markings on it (he presumably tells Vel about this, or Vel notices the markings herself at some point, this isn't really made clear). Cass later brings the pistol with him to Niamos and keeps it in his hidden storage box in the apartment, where it remains when he gets arrested. It stays there during his whole time on Narkina 5. He escapes Narkina 5 with Melshi, recovers the pistol from the apartment, and then gives it to Melshi right before they part ways in S1E10. We don't see Melshi or the pistol again until this episode, when Vel is inspecting the new Rebel recruits weaponry and recognizes the pistol with the distinct Preox-Morlana markings. She remembers that Cassian had a weapon exactly like this and realizes one of the new recruits might have some connection to Cass, so she asks "who belongs to this," and we get the Melshi reveal. Because this is Andor, where even the blasters have thoroughly developed character arcs.

"I don't know how to thank you." "Make it worth it." In these past 21 episodes every little thing has been a part of making it worth it. I expect to be scheduled for work, lunch shift, when you post next week but it'll be totally worth it to get it covered so I can immediately see your reactions to the final 3 episodes.

Lot’s happened in this episode! Mon’s speech! And Bix leaving 😭 I’m glad you also recognized Melshi (eventually 😉) And on a positive note, K2SO! Looking forward to the Finale!
