The two episodes I was waiting for. I mentioned from your last reaction that the next two episodes were going to be heavy ones, especially episode 4. I am absolutely hyped to watch both these episodes with you guys and hear what you guys think. I already know this going to be an emotional and amazing reaction and I'm so ready for it!

Frank put *ONE* round in the chamber of the gun. He told Matt, and I'm paraphrasing here : ''One round, you're gonna have to make a choice, but RN; you're thinking my arm, or my leg, which won't work, You'll have to put one in my head, or shoot Grotto''.... Since he'd already instead shot his chains with the round, Matt was bluffing when he had the gun on that Dogs of Hell Member (the bikers). Matt revealed the bluff to the rest of the Members, by clicking the now empty gun at them........... *THAT'S* when/why he laughed. Matt will *NEVER* compromise his morals, and has not.

Okay yeah this was again another one of your best reactions to a show or movie ever! That whole scene with in the cemetery with Frank talking about his kids, especially his daughter is one of the best and most heartwrenching scene in the show that I also tear up when I watch it. And I just love how invested you both get into these characters when watching these shows and movies. You guys care about the stories told and characters in it and it's why I will always adore your reactions. You guys are seriously the best!

I guess it is a good thing you forgot since we got a more raw reaction from the both of you. I'm also doing okay thanks for asking. Life has been up and down the past several months for me but your reactions have definitely helped a ton, especially your DC and Marvel reactions. I've been slowly getting into Star Wars as well thanks to your reactions. Hope you, Caleb, Yuna, and Bumi are also doing well!

Franks whole dialogue was amazing that graveyard scene is a masterpeice tho I just love them having a legit argument on the rooftop battle of ideologies and there both not wrong in there arguments. Like there's plenty of comic book heroes that do kill like Wolverine, Blade, Deadpool, ghost rider etc but I love how they doing this story with Daredevil and Punisher meeting and hashing it out then by the end of it there basically ok with each other. And as for the Karen and Matt stuff i don't mind it but its not my fav them forcing them togther this season cause it didn't feel like it was writrten naturally and yes they are together at one point in the comics but like all heroes Matt has many love interests the woman we see at the end who she (;

Now you know Frank’s backstory. This is his origin from the comics and while you can get his perspective, you also understand Matt’s. Their argument in episode 3 is Frank’s dynamic with all of the Marvel heroes in a nutshell. Despite some team ups, certain heroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Daredevil for example never agree with Frank’s methods and often call him insane. A example being a comic where Frank & Spider-Man had to work together but by the end, Peter ask Frank to turn himself in but instead Frank shot the criminal they were chasing as a distraction to get away. Peter had to let him go to save the criminal.

Also the last scene of episode 4 introduces a big character in the Daredevil lore that I know you’ll be excited to know more about.

Claire/Matt shared ONE passionate kiss, after a bit of flirting. The night she got beat up. He let her shower, gave him her shirt, and his bed. Then, next morning, after Matt was examining Claire's wounds, along with his patch job from the night before, and after finally explaining to Claire how he ''sees'', they share their first, albeit *very* passionate, kiss. They never hooked up. Claire leaves Hell's Kitchen shortly afterwards, for her safety, telling Matt she also could not be with him, because of his ''Daredevil Shenanigans''. Watch Luke Cage season 1 if you wanna know where she went/why/how she came back for DD season 2. Karen/Matt have been ''fencing'' since season one, and I prefer them anyway. The latter has A LOT more to do with with Deborah Ann Woll herself, cuzz DAMN, and the way she plays karen, but there it is.

I know there was already a comment saying it less eloquently, but yeah, Matt would not have shot anyone. The gun only had one bullet and he shot the chain with it, so there's still that solid difference between Frank and Matt. I love the dynamic with characters like Batman, and Daredevil with a no kill rule (yet they'll beat people into comas 😅) against anti heroes like Punisher or villains like Joker. I wouldn't say Matt is pessimistic. Matt is the opposite. He's very hopeful. He's got darkness in him just like Frank for sure. And it comes out everytime he fights criminals. Like Matt doesn't just have hope. Remember he wanted to kill Fisk, and even tried. He's fighting his darkness every day, and he definitely has that same desire. But the power in someone like him is in spite of his hatred of evil, he chooses not to feed into it.

The Punisher storyline was magnificent in these 4 episodes. What an amazing performance by Bernthal but also what amazing material from the writers. The ideological conflict between Daredevil and Punisher was explored very richly. I dare say that Punisher is written better in the Daredevil show than on his own show but that's just my personal opinion. Interesting thoughts about the potential Matt/Karen relationship. I do agree with some of your points and disagree with some. I guess we'll have to watch and see how storyline develops. I think the difference between Claire and Karen is that Claire knows Daredevil and Karen knows Matt Murdock. Those are 2 different aspects of Matt so that's probably why those 2 relationships felt very different. Also we get to see Elektra at the end. Surely she won't complicate our hero's life, right?
