Matthew Cronin

This was my favorite set of episodes when I was a kid. Watching these at 9 on a Friday night was the best as a 9 year old

Not related to the reaction but to what you said at the beginning of the video, I am absolutely so down for more comic read alongs. There’s definitely some DC, Marvel, and Star Wars comics that I’d love to see you guys do a read along to

Bruce Wayne

As Ahsoka said, Mater Plo is the one who traveled to her village and found her as a child and recruited her into the order. Always watching over her as she grew up and keeping a deep bond with her. In a way he's like a grandfather to her :) hes always calling her little soka and treats her SO kindly

Matthew Cronin

You should react to the Revenge of the Sith Deleted Scenes. There was a whole padmé subplot about her trying to end the war peacefully that was filmed but cut out. She basically started the rebellion.

Btw meg since you were tlking about your interest in dooku's past, the show tales of the jedi is basically little canon shorts. There are three Dooku episodes that delve in events in his past that shook his faith in the jedi and republic. They also don't spoil anything from clone wars so if you wanna watch those at anytime now, you dont gotta worry.

There's also the Dooku: Jedi Lost book if you don't mind some reading.

I very much enjoy hearing both of your thoughts and feelings about Star Wars, they are often very different from my own, but always give me new angles to consider. If either of you is interested, the Knights of the Old Republic comic series is separate from the games but set in the same time period, and is a very interesting read.

I think the criticism towards the first two seasons stems from the fact that when the show was released it was initially not in chronological order which can be confusing to people watching it. The writing team was also trying to figure out what they wanted to do and the first season can be described in some ways as a test season. It's not bad though and I have fond memories of it from my childhood. I just think some people are overly critical of it, especially comparing it to the show's later seasons. Either way, I'm glad you're both enjoying it.

I think Plo Koon is a strong contender for my favorite Jedi. He reminds me of a more refined Qui Gon, not that he wasn't an expert in his own right. Plo seems so sure of himself and his place in the galaxy. Ahsoka's adoration for him is also adorable.

yup, while the earlier seasons aren't bad per se, they're "kinda" bad compared to the later ones. S3 onwards is probably some of the best SW we've gotten post-prequels...

You’re absolutely right about how you experience Star Wars, I’m just glad it is a source of joy, if not obsession for you now. If you enjoyed the Malevolence story arc, it was actually inspired by history by the raid and ultimate sinking of the German battleship Bismarck during WWII. Something to add to research. Can’t wait for more!

The Star Wars Community really underestimates how good the first season of The Clone Wars actually is. looking at it objectively... there is only 1 episode in the entire season that can genuinely be considered "Bad", but even still im pretty sure you guys will enjoy it regardless. Also YES, The Narrator of the Show is Admiral Yularen, who by the way is voiced by Tom Kane... who also voices Yoda in this show.
