One of the last things Qui-Gon says to Obi-Wan is “you’re a much wiser man than I” and when I heard Dooku say it here I teared up.

CAREFUL, I write this as a warning in case no one else mentions it but Tales of the Jedi does contain Spoiler content for events of the Clone Wars Series especially the Ending. I recommend only watching this episode and the Episodes with Dooku

Sebastian Lagunes

A clear guide would be Episode 1, 2, 3, and 4 if you want to avoid spoilers for Clone Wars. Since you both are still reacting to it

As someone else said, do not watch episode 5 and 6 until after you complete The Clone Wars as this contains spoilers for said show.

I think you will love this! Just watched the intro so far, and I actually think Meg will connect with Dooku a lot more upon watching these. I will say this: go ahead and watch the rest of the Dooku episodes, DO NOT watch episode 5 and 6 yet! These take place after TCW season 7.

Mage Reacts

Got it! That sounds perfect and that's what we'll stick with :D thank you!

If you’re looking to hop around with shows, i think you guys should be okay to watch these: Mando S1, Kenobi, Rebels S1 (there is somewhat of a TCW spoiler at the end but I think you guys already know), Rogue One, Andor (after Rogue One), and Solo (after some more of TCW). That’s what I can think of right now, others may have other suggestions or may disagree due to minor things. SW is my greatest hyperfixation and I’ve really enjoyed the way you two have been exploring this universe!

Yes to Kenobi, Rogue One, and Andor. However I would count the Rebels and Solo spoilers way to big to even try to tackle before finishing Clone Wars in it's entirety.

I love that Qui-Gon in this episode is played by Liam Neeson's son, it's so precious.

I feel like Dooku's usage of the dark side was the most justified we've seen in the whole series. It makes his downfall all the more tragic.

Oh believe me... there's a lot of stuff that happens in the Star Wars Timeline, at least in Legends (The Expanded Universe that is no longer Canon) there are more than 20.000 years of history before the events of the movies, and there were definetely many Sith that existed before Sidious and Plagueis. Do not forget that the Jedi and the Sith are simply 2 organizations/philosophies that use and study the Force. However... the Force can be interpreted in many ways by other organizations and cultures who are not the Jedi and the Sith. What i mean by this is that Ahsoka's village and it's Elder do not see or feel the Force the same way the Jedi do. They do know about the Jedi... but the way they interpret the Force is very different. Dooku is a political idealist, he might have become a Sith but in truth he never gave himself fully to the Dark Side, you confirm this with the fact that Dooku never had the characteristic Yellow eyes that all the other Sith developed, like Vader, Maul and Palpatine. Dooku wanted to improve the lives of the people in the Galaxy and erradicate the Corruption that was already taking hold of the Republic, the problem was that he was the type of character that follows the idea of "The Goal jutifies the Means" and that's why he eventually decided to follow Palpatine (even tho he was also being manipulated, as Palps always does).

You were talking about the sith and jedi and the rule of two. Apologies if this was mentioned previously, but I would suggest you read the Darth Bane trilogy of books. I won't reveal what they entail but they are some of my favorite Star Wars novels. Unfortunately they are legends, however the character of Darth Bane is canon.
