dang I haven't thought about this short in ages. This honestly might be my first proper memory of Batman and Catwoman together. At the very least first time an interaction between the two that left a lasting impression on me. Thinking about this one short probably ended laying the foundations of how I see their relationship. Still one of my favourite romantic partnerships in dc.

Yeah I think this little short captures Batman and Catwoman's relationship. The whole sequence of Batman chasing after Catwoman is something I love that Selina does to Bruce as a way of playing around with him cause I know she's done it many times in the comics. And even if it seems like Bruce is done with it, you know he actually loves it and this short of him daydreaming it all is a great example of that. I'm definitely one of the many who will always believe that Selina is Bruce's true love, much like how Lois is Clark's true love. There's been so many cute, heartwarming and romantic moments that Selina and Bruce share that it's honestly so frustrating how DC likes to mess with their relationship a ton in modern comics to the point where I almost wonder if they're doing it on purpose to the fans. I honestly wish DC did a modern take on what they did with their relationship during the Golden Age era of comics from the 1940s-1950s where their relationships and characters got proper endings. But this was a great little reaction

Probably cuz he imagines that a regular traditional wife wouldn’t want to worry about their husband dying on the street fighting crime or something and the dread of not knowing if he’ll come back thru the door similar to what a soldier or police officer’s wife would deal with. In this case tho catwoman not only understands the risks but shares it with someone like him and im sure her looks help too lol plus there’s an element of fun to running around on rooftops in costumes
