Good reaction. Even though you seen Aquaman a few times already, this two parter gave you more of his world and meeting his wife, Mera & one of his biggest enemies being his brother Orm aka Ocean Master which they never referred to him in that name or not wore his costume. Lol You technically briefly met him in Flashpoint Paradox in the dark timeline when he helped Arthur in his war against Diana but it was a cameo. Also Deadshot involved was cool as well.

Flash and Hawkgirl aren't in these episodes, but Flash's actor voiced Deadshot. Also very funny that you called it was Deadshot beforehand. I think John Stewart was angry in this arc because he was a US marine before he was a Lantern so maybe he took the attack on a US military people personally. Given Aquaman's personality in these two episodes some of those treasonous generals will probably be executed.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes of the show but then again I don't think there's a single terrible episode in the series. That whole scene of him saving his son is one of the best in the show. I love how while this show is catered towards children, as you said, they aren't afraid to tackle deeper and darker themes. Though this particular version of Aquaman in the show is based on the version of him in the comics at the time this episode was released where he had long hair, beard and his hook arm. I actually prefer this version over his more classic comic version that you saw in STAS where he is beardless and has short hair, especially because his hook arm is extremely significant as you now know from this episode. This episode or episodes is one of the things that made me respect Aquaman so much more and in a way he reminds me of Marvel's Black Panther. Both T'Challa and Arthur are kings to their nation and all they want is to protect and ensure peace for their people. But sometimes they are threatened by the outside world or surface dwellers and they have to take the necessary actions to protect themselves, even if it means killing. Though I'd say Aquaman is more cold and ruthless than but I haven't read much on Black Panther so I could be wrong. I'd also say Wonder Woman is in the same place as both of them when she's Queen of Themyscira. Although I'd say she's much more open-minded compared to her mom Hippolyta, who I'd say has a similar mindset as Aquaman as she's very untrustworthy of man's world. But I'm so glad you enjoyed these episodes and I love that you got emotional again. I have a feeling that it's going to be a reoccurring thing since I think there will be something to enjoy from each episode. Can't wait for the next one!! Also disregard what I said on discord about skipping the next episode. Apparently the episodes being rearranged is them correcting a production error that happened when the episodes originally aired. So you can move on to the next episode (Injustice for All) without skipping it whenever the next Justice League reaction is

Putting the MAN in Aquaman. A very popular redesign that affects all future versions of the character complete with a 'Lion King' type plot. He's sort of the 'eighth ranger' of the Justice League, occasionally called in for aid, but of course his first duty is always to his kingdom and family. Deadshot being one of the few villains to slip through the 'Bat-embargo'; a directive not to use many Batman villains in Justice League. Probably helps that he wasn't in the original animated series.

Matthew Cronin

This Aquaman is based on the 90’s version of Aquaman where they tried to make him less like Mermaid Man. I don’t really know how he got his hand back 😂

Phantom Penance

“Your hand—“ “Is nothing compared to what I’m about to do to Orm.” That’s the vibe Aquaman is giving. Plus, he loses it the comics so it’s a cool way to bring it to the story.

Mage Reacts

Yes, I was wondering about his military past!

Sonia Deepak

I love that this is the intro to Aquaman that the show writer's opted for. The act of cutting off his own arm to save his kid immediately brings him up to badass level.

Brandon Gibbs

Yes Meg that IS Aquaman with long hair and a beard in this version and it's pretty badass too!😁 Anyway that Orm was NO brother of his, he was just a goddamn traitor who got what he deserved at the end🙄

PunchFace

I'm absolutely loving your Justice League reactions.

Superheroes Rock

Yea I preferred the way he looked in the previous show. But then again he’s grown out his hair too in the comics so at least we got both of his classic designs in this universe
