Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I love this movie. Especially Donnie. "Gotham is bonkers yo!" The humor is so good. I forgot how violent it was though.

As someone who doesn't really know too much about TMNT, this is still one of the best animated movies. The way Caleb is a big fan of the TMNT and knows pretty much everything about them reminds me of how I feel about the Transformers, which has also had comics with IDW (also I hope you guys do get into Transformers at some point). I do love the blue and grey suit for Batman and it's based on the base suit that he worn in the comics throughout the 1970s. And with Batgirl's suit, that suit is actually the suit she wore during the Rebirth era of DC's comics that was introduced in 2016. I also love that this movie did a really great job showcasing the fighting scenes. And while Ra's trained Bruce to fight in Nolan's Batman Begins, in the comics and pretty much all iterations, Bruce never trained with Ra's and the League of Assassins. He trained with multiple fighters and assassins all across the world learning each of their skills and techniques from them, including moves that can be fatal. And honestly that's one of the things I love about Bruce is that he knows multiple ways to kill but he just never uses it because of his no kill code. Also the comic covers at the end are actually not real comics as they used comics from actual DC comics but replaced the characters with the TMNT, which I think is pretty cool. But this was such a fun movie and reaction from you guys and I do think it's the first animated movie that Caleb has joined in on! Also I'm glad you had watched Son of Batman first and got introduced to Damian before watching this cause I feel like you'd probably be a bit confused when Robin calls him father. But thanks for another amazing DC reaction. I’m so glad we’ve been getting them a bunch lately and I can’t wait for you to get back into Justice League and the DCAMU movies

Hilarious and fun reaction and yes the comics covers u see at the end are actually real batman comic covers but with certain characters switched out for the turtles instead. So like mock covers basically. The nutty part is that troy baker has played batman, joker, tim drake, jason todd, two face, nightwing, and superman in various dc cartoons and games including multiple which you’ve seen like batman in telltale and joker in arkham origins. He can LITERALLY voice every batman character in a single movie if they wanted to do that lol. i hope u watch the batman and scooby doo crossover movie too that was also fun although this is better.

The crossover we never knew we wanted. Interesting how the movie is allowed much more gore and profanity than the original animated series' despite Batman getting a costume close to his 60s incarnation.

I’m genuinely scared of Troy Baker he is way too talented💀💀💀💀 and love the comic covers switch up!

I reeeeally wanna get into Transformers too!!!

Costumes were a huge plus for me! Loved seeing him in his original blue.

If you do, start with Transformers One as that is a origin movie :)

Great reaction! I love this movie and very rare for both companies (WB/Paramount/Nickelodeon) to do a collaboration to have an animated crossover of their IPs meet. This was clearly made by fans for fans. This movie really gives you more insight with the turtles and their personalities such as learning Leo’s fear of losing his family/failing as a leader which is been a constant thing in most interpretations, Raph wanting to be a loner, etc. Also happy you saw Son of Batman first because you can see how Damian eventually gets better when Bruce raises him compared to his grandfather. The fandom is mix on him because while there are people who like him, others at least at first thought he was a brat but Damian goes grow as a character over time & form good relationships with his dad & other bat family members like Nightwing. For more TMNT content, I recommend the sequel to the 1990 movie. It isn’t as good as the first but is a fun time. The 2003 series is great for being a near faithful adaptation to the original comics. Lastly you could see the 2012 tv show because it gives you more of the turtles expanded world & meeting characters from the lore.

One thing to say is that Batman has become the one fictional character to meet a bunch of different characters from different franchises mostly in comic form. To name some of them: he met the Turtles, Scooby Doo, Spider-Man, Godzilla & Kong, the Power Rangers, Spawn, The Predator alien (that happened), and even recently he and the Justice League are gonna meet Sonic The Hedgehog lol.

This was one hell of a crossover movie! BATMAN 🦇 & TMNT🐢 Ya know I was glad Raph called Bats out on his arrogance when he dismissed them so fast just because of one mistake. I know if Splinter was there too he would done the same by schooling Bats on what real teamwork and trust is and that justice does not always have to come from the darkness.

This was very good. This movie gave homage to the first ninja turtles movie from the 90's and the 2nd movie. Ralph losing his weapon, and when Alfred ask them do they want a napkin so they don't make a mess, and they say "What for?" just like in two when April asked them that. It was very good. I also love when Batman and Shredder was fighting. If Shredder didn't have that special move who knows who would've won.
