This is such a good episode. The Trandoshans and the Wookies live in the same star system, that's why Chewie said his home world was close, their two planets share the same star. The Wookies and Trandoshans hate each other, because hunting Wookies is a way of life for Trandoshans, and the Wookies have gotten pretty good at fighting back and killing Trandoshans. The woman who was flying the Wookie ship at the end was the bounty hunter Sugi. Sugi appeared in season 2 episode 17 "Bounty Hunters" where Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan work alongside Sugi and her good bounty hunters to teach villagers to defend themselves from Hondo's pirates.

Controversial opinion, but… you guys may want to check out Solo after Clone Wars. It actually works since it’s before Andor and Rebels. Just for your consideration. Fun little sorbet these two are! Great character building and reflection for our principles and a nice surprise appearance. Oh and we’ve seen Felucia before - one of the planets seen in Episode III during Order 66, so gives you an idea how long fighting is going on on the planet. Buckle up, season four of Clone Wars is epic.

Hey Meg fyi, the episode right after the next trilogy still kind of ties in despite being a one off, so you can technically watch all four at once.

A fun fact about this episode is that they actually brought in Peter Mayhew, the actor who played Chewie in the OT, and had him walk around and move and used his motion for reference animation. So in a way he technically played Chewie here.

Ahsoka killing the lead Trandoshan isn't darkside because he tried to keep fighting and be a threat. Now had he surrendered and Ahsoka killed him anyway then it would've been a darkside action. Same applies to Dooku's death as he was crippled and defenseless after losing his hands. Anakin killed him there because of his disdain towards him and because of Palpy's goading. As long as a Jedi kills in pure self defense or to save innocent lives then it's all good.
