Omg!!! Green Lantern is my favorite! I hope you check out Emerald Knights! It's a great introduction to the Green Lantern mythology and it's characters!

Whenever I introduce someone to Green Lantern I show them Emerald Knights and then the unfortunately short lived yet incredible Green Lantern animated series. It's one of my favorite cartoons ever made!

Its funny the Green lantern movie was where Ryan reynolds first met his wife yet him and everyone hates that movie lol mainly cause of the villian but I liked it. Anywho Green lanterns I never thought of a Mass effect thing but now i can't stop thinking about it there pretty much space cops and there's soo much GL lore to explore. And it wasn't mentioned here but Green color is Will Power thats what it is and then Yellow is Fear. There's other colors and they all represent a type of emotion, Blue Hope, Pink is Love, Red is Rage, and I love that it doesn't matter who green lantern is they jsut try to do whats right and they all have a story

2026-09-19 17:00 While it requires a some familiarity with both flash and green lantern "Flash & Green Lantern the Brave and the Bold" is a pretty fun comic and does a good job showing Hal Jordan and Barry Allen's friendship telling some of their team ups before the events of Crisis on infinite earths

While Hal is the most famous lantern there are other popular green lanterns that got their on stories: John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, and... Guy Gardner. And then there is the original 1940s green lantern Alan Scott

Yay! Green Lantern has always been one of my favorites! As far as comics, Geoff Johns’ run on Green Lantern is among the best. It’s a long run of comics, but well worth a read! Though I think they also recently relaunched the title with the intention of making it a good jumping on point. I haven’t had the chance to read the new relaunch yet as I generally wait for new comics to release as a graphic novel, but that might be something else to consider.

Also, a few more notes I just thought of. This movie is a highly condensed version of events. Sinestro and Abin Sur were close friends in the comics and even after Hal joined the corps. it was quite some time before Sinestro left the corps. Also Boodikka never betrayed the Corps. in the comics.
