Wasn’t Arthur supposed to forget about Oscar…? Now that I think on it, how do we know for sure the Order’s box was for memories anyway?

giselle

i swear to god, if arthur falls down in a river with this UNREAD letter in his pocket.....

Broth Mirepoix

pausing after the intro to say: oh fuck

Bit

Oh great. We don’t have a choice except to go in the spooky hole now. Down we go 💀

SeerOfTime

Another day, another fall, it seems.

Charlie

I think it was just forgetting meeting Oscar, but idk if that means he'd forget about Oscar entirely or just when they met.

Charlie

devastated at the loss of those other letters....

Broth Mirepoix

Just musing that it sure is lucky Arthur doesn't need to eat 😆

Waffle 427

ARTHUR WHY?????? Are you trying to make me have some sort of mental breakdown????

YaHomieScooty

Arthur has faced eldritch gods beyond his mortal comprehension but can’t hold a dagger, a torch, and keep a hand on the wall lol

Alder

The ritual that the memory was offered to never happened, so it was presumably never taken.

Nicky

Based on the Vizier’s speech, Losing the offered memories was supposed to be part of the ritual that was going to take place in the Cana Room, so it never happened.

SoapCarver

Okay. I'm just going into this assuming everything wants to eat and/or hunt Arthur for being a human with a God in him.

GPTC

More falling injuries!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE I hope owlexander follow us

SavageIvyy

I'm kinda at an impasse on what's a good idea here. On one hand John makes it obvious there's no way back up so is there a point in remembering where they started? We don't know how winding this gets though. I almost want to say keeping the knife up makes more sense here, we also don't know what it's full abilities are because this clearly isn't a normal knife

Janus

Arthur please, I know you're in mortal danger but please please please read Oscar's letter. Devastated at the loss of the other 2 letters

Amanda Nicole

I was thinking that about the dagger too. It's from Kayne; does anybody really expect it to be a regular knife? Kayne knows and sees everything too, I wouldn't be surprised if he gave it to Arthur knowing or thinking he'd need it for something more- and Kayne's the whole reason Arthur and John are even here in the first place.

SavageIvyy

Yeah it's been tickling my brain for a bit. It has only been used to get Arthur out of the dream lands. By the time Kayne got their attention he more than likely already knew what he wanted from them so why give them a normal knife? Its also worth noting that he can't see and know everything. He can't see Arthur's future for example, i have theories as to why but thats neithere here nor there. Kayne is frighteningly intelligent but hes not perfect. I think the knife is relevant to finding the stone, and he knows that much

Monster Goatz

Why can’t Arthur hold the knife in the right hand and keep the back of that right hand on the wall while John holds the light? Or john holds the dagger while Arthur holds the light and still keeps the back of his hand on the wall.

Layali

I personally wouldn’t touch the wall of a thing whose entrance looked like a mouth. I’d assume I’m in the throat, and the wall will eat/melt me. Arthur use the knife as a hand replacement, keep it on the wall. Ughh I feel like the mouth will clamp shut as soon as they go in.

Maggie Billings

That’s why the upstairs should be explored first! Ugh the basement always leads to moving on. I think Arthur should hold the dagger. He has a torch so john can see where he is going. They could just only take left turns so they don’t get lost.

Unorthofox

In process of catching up and this is the first time I’ve felt genuinely nervous in a long long while.
