This chapter and the last are so stressful because no choice feels truly right! Just how much is manipulation, by whom, and for what purpose? The sound thing to do seems to be to take the bag and skidaddle, but not all manipulation is malicious, and we can't say we know what the spirits want and that the lore Arthur remembers is completely correct. Some key details do seem to align, and some are amiss. But, perhaps they're already in a trap and the choice is fairly inconsequential in that respect. Oh boyyyyyy 🫠

We are soooo fucked My personal theory for now, (which will probably turn out false in the next episode) is that the children are controlled by mother darkness and owlexander is unfortunately also her servant. Idk what she wants and why but she definitely wants our boys and knows what they are. Also a bit crack theory but I think that mother darkness might be Lilith or at least this worlds version of her. I just think it would be funny
