Tell the truth!!! Yorick says that Alia “knew much about Mother Darkness and her desire for the talisman” Alia can write that down if Arthur lies!!! Alia can also “see into the hearts of men,” so she can almost certainly tell if Arthur is lying. Just tell them it was MD and that she wanted the talisman. Revealing that info doesn’t mean exposing their plans or Lilith or anything else. Arthur can relay almost everything that happened with the hag/witch without revealing anything of their greater plan. “Idk man, we went into this cave/tunnel and got stabbed by this hag but we used her medallion to revive me and we killed her so now her mom hates us and we want to keep the talisman because it’s powerful and can be useful” (insert how it’s healing properties can help *everyone* in their party, giving them an extra bonus in “showing” how much they care about their party)

Alia has the potential to be Lie Detector SupremeTM and we don’t know enough about her to comfortably lie and get away with it. Plus, there is enough to our story where we can tell the truth and not reveal the larger plot going on with Arthur + John.

I think we’ve got to start being a bit more truthful here. We need more allies, and lying to the only people who we have to trust right now just seems counterproductive. We just burned our bridge with Mother Darkness so we’d probably be wise to try and keep the few remaining allies that we have.

Telling them the truth could put them in danger. If they decide to stick by our side, and help us, it's not going to end well for them. Remember the Butcher, and Noel? Keeping them at arms length is best for everyone's safety.

In previous truth vs. lie choices, truth has almost always been the right call. Coming clean with Yellow about the Glass of Cana, telling the truth to Daniel, etc. Also, we’re like 15 minutes into this journey and Vale is already suspicious of us, and Alia is already asking questions about MD. That’s not great. We don’t want to get caught in a lie, so I think we need to stick as close to the truth as possible. We can tell the truth about MD and the talisman without mentioning anything about Lilith, the day of wrath, or our intentions the Blackstone. Plus didn’t we establish that Alia can tell when people are lying?

I’m wondering if she’d keep the truth to herself if we were to lie to Vale. It’s a little early to be certain, but Alia has enough mystery surrounding her presence that I think that she has a different purpose for the journey. Something that Sir Vale and Antoine aren’t privy too.

Fish got me to flip to truth (not that it’s even remotely close lol) but we don’t know what was said while Arthur/John and MD were talking, he also went off on his own after she left. Sir Vale may already know everything or nothing at all, but this feels like a test.
