I don’t think Noel did anything spooky/magic. I think with the last few heavy conversations Arthur has decided that what John and he actually need is for someone else to know about John so they can both start having relationships outside of the two of them. And who better to start with than someone who’s already familiar with The Horrors and, therefore, more likely to believe that there’s an entity in Arthur’s head, instead of being brushed off as crazy

Are the two mutually exclusive? I admit I'm a relative newcomer here, so I'm genuinely asking! I googled him and couldn't find anything except that he's from another one of Harlan's campaigns (right?) I WAS trying really hard to convince myself that the voice was just a coincidence, not to get my hopes up (TKIY is like unironically my favorite character 😅), it's a red herring, there's only so many voices that can come out of one single human, yada yada yada—But then 1) he did another, completely different New York accent in the next episode (seriously!! HOW?!) and 2) the "shuffled off this mortal coil... What, you sound smart, you never read Hamlet?" is Word For Word what the King-as-Adam said to Arthur in his coma, delivered in the exact same way (listening to them side by side I think it may even be the same audio clip, just without filters) so like... either way, the King HAS to be involved here, right?

Their whole heart to heart at the beginning concluded with "I, John, will never not feel isolated when you interact with other people" and the one combo they haven't tried yet is actually letting someone interact with John. They also just got done discussing the fact that Arthur has *already* told this guy enough to land Arthur in lots of trouble. His choice to reveal John is the obvious path forward!!!

My theory is KIY pulled some time shenanigans and imitated from a future memory. Charlie Dowd is Roland Cummings partner. The lighter was found in Roland’s desk, he and his wife died due to eldritch nonsense, familiar with Arkham and may have friends in common (Armitage and Akerman)
