Hello All!

Just like you guys, I hate that Charlie, isn't actually Charlie. The scene in this ep felt so uncomfortable to me because Liv doesn't know and is trusting of him - breaks my heart. Peter having that touching moment with Walter over the fishing made me so emotional - these two will break me, I just know it! Glad to see Nina again too and she's introduced Olivia to Sam, who I'm hoping is gonna help her with these new abilities she seems to have!

Much love

Dakara x

Well done, Dakara!!! You caught it in a split second! Charlie does NOT call Olivia "Olivia" - it's either "Liv" or "Livvy". Olivia is obviously out of sorts, she is not OK regardless of the fact that she keeps saying that she is fine... If she was really fine, she would catch Alt-Charlie's slip up... At least at the end she accepted the fact that she needs to be "fixed" and, trusting Nina, went to see Sam Weiss. Sam is one of my very favourite characters in Fringe (and he has already started working on Olivia's case: "You are just going to give up?!?")

Very nice catch there Dak with Charlie calling her Olivia and not Liv! Not my fav case of the week but when is an episode of Fringe not brilliant? And I am truly soooo happy I have found a reactor that gushes over Peter as much as I do ! You just gotta love that man

DB

It's so stupid but the entire episode the only thing I could think of was a Hair rewatch. Between Timothy Leary (dearie) mention in the previous episode and Claude Hooper Bukowski guest starring it this one lol

Just wondering if you're considering watching the show without subtitles? You mentioned that they spoiled something and I've noticed it does take away from the impact of certain upcoming lines

DakaraJayne

The age old debate. I think subtitles are good for reactions, I feel as though I need to actively focus on the scene more so than relying on them though. Most of the time i'm fine but the odd day or moment I catch myself out. The moment in this ep, the reveal was seconds later so not too big of a thing this time. Luckily.

Katie

How about calling fake Charlie Charlatan? 😜

Steve Mercier

"The grave of a boy who is not in his grave." Says Walter, to his living son Peter. Goddamn, the writing is spectacular in this show. Having a blast watching these again.

just a note: lupus does not actually inherently prevent pregnancy, at least not normally. if a case was severe enough maybe, but it's more inadvisable since you'd have to stop all the meds while pregnant. totally survivable, but it would definitely make the symptoms worse on top of all the pregnancy symptoms and theoretically could cause long term damage if it got bad enough to start destroying the kidneys between when you stop the meds and when they kick in again after starting them up again. for me, it took the base medication 9 months to kick in when i started so that would be MINIMUM 18 months with little to no control over the lupus

This was another really good episode and I really enjoyed your reaction to it. The "monster" was particularly scary and there were a number of scenes that were rather gross, but I couldn't look away. I'm hoping this issue that Olivia is dealing with is taken care of fairly soon as I need her to be okay and back at 100%. I had to smile a bit every time I saw Olivia walking with her cane, as I wish I could walk as fast and as far with mine as she does. Looking forward to the next episode. Thanks Dak!

I had to Google where the observer is in this episode. It's really difficult to see him. Time stamp on this video is 24:36. It's the shot of the house and he's standing next to the police car to the right of the screen as Jessup shows up there

Gary Marshall

So glad you love this cast of characters. For me, that is the heart of any show and Fringe (along with Buffy & Agents of SHIELD) has a wonderful array of characters all of whom are all beautifully portrayed. And in this episode you get to meet Sam Weiss for the first time, such fun!

I guess our fine Sheriff did not go lightly into the good night.
