Hello All!

My eyes were leaking in this one! That scene with Julie and Miller was so bloomin' beautiful! I wanted so bad for Miller to survive and at the same time I felt happy for him that he found some peace with Julie. The pacing of this episode felt so fast yet when I think of the individual scenes they were so weighty and calm considering the situation! Brilliant episode! Fav so far.

Much love

Dakara x

- The above should solve your issues, in the odd case it doesn't, I can only put it down to it being a fresh upload and too many people are accessing the link...on this occasion I typically leave a temporary link at the bottom of the description. We're here people! Dak, when you announced that you were going to give The Expanse a shot, this is one of THE reactions I was looking forward to the most. 40 minutes of some of the greatest storytelling ever seen on screen. Unfortunately I'm gonna be able to catch this only tomorrow evening. So you can expect more from me after. ^_^ Hope everyone has the best time with this one!

Heard an ugly rumor Amazon is taking down The Expanse from streaming after February. :( Hope it's not true, I really enjoy people discovering it for the first time.

Such a beautiful episode. I always loved Miller's character. By the way, the "juice" they are using when they are chasing Eros is a drug that helps to offset the effects of excessive acceleration on the human body, but it has limits. Also, Naomi (and to a lesser extent Alex) have less inherent resistance to accel because they grew up in lower gravity environments than Holden and Amos. That is likely why Naomi's nose was bleeding when no-one else's was.

Definitely agree with you dak the protomolecule is so pretty lovely the blue 😍 some great scenes in this one with great performances by all but what's important is we got to see drummer and as you know she's my favourite , unsure if I've mentioned that at all 😂😂 glad you had tissues for this one it was kinda sad . Great stuff dak 🔥

Jack

Great reaction to a great episode. How far we've come from my comment right at the start summarising who Earth, Mars, and the Belt were!

Isak Haugerud

Seems like there is a lot of confusion about this still. It's possible seasons 1-3 could be removed from Amazon in the UK.

PaulC

Haha, was that your first time singing along to the opening credits?

DakaraJayne

🙊🙊🙊🙊🙊 I need stopping!!!

Robert

This is the sort of writing that's lacking anymore. It's just next level. You need to look away, but you just can't for fear that you'll miss something important. Launching half it's nuclear arsenal at Eros is the only option that Earth has, they need to kill that rock before it kills them! I fell in love with Chrisjen in this one, her desire to stay when she knew she would die, there are no words. The "juice" is a cocktail of drugs specially designed to keep occupants of "high performance" aircraft from passing out during high G maneuvers. The new inside of Eros was gorgeous, like the inside of a geode. Miller was gambling that the protomolecule absorbed some of Julies' consciousness(BTW consciousness is its' own plural, sort of like Trout, or Moose.). The whole crew had started to become a family, and now they're down by one(?) There is a chance that Miller may come back, in a different form. I for one, love your singing. You have a nice voice. Theres a youtube clip of the actress Leighton Meeser playing guitar and singing a cover of "All I have to say.". It's beautiful, you should look for it.

Polly

Julie had a vision of Miller and the bird as she was dying and before he found her. I don't know if that is explained in the books but I am assuming that the protomolecule has the ability to detect connections that might effect it even if it is not in direct contact with them. The first time I watched I thought that the kiss was a bit wtf but Miller was well and truly infected by that time so now I think it is the protomolecule accepting him.

Awww man, this was worth the wait. Such a great reaction to a beautiful episode. "This is more like a movie, this, to me this series is. Like, this is high quality stuff" And Dak, it gets better. Can you believe that?! I think you're beginning to appreciate the calls of people branding The Expanse, the pinnacle of sci fi and television in general. I'm also pretty proud of everyone here for not spoiling anything for you. Well done guys. Lol. Dak, you're doing better than great! You're awesome. Thank you.

Just signed on to your patreon for The Expanse. Gonna start from the beginning. This show is a wild ride that's still just getting started.

PongPong31

Omg! Haha. You're in for a ride dude.

Isak Haugerud

Fantastic episode, among the top 5 of the whole show for me!

Chris Warner
