How odd is it that I ship Fauxlivia with Lincoln, I could ship Lincoln and Peter (they have chemistry ok?) but I don't see it between Olivia and Lincoln? Clearly she doesn't feel that relationship either considering she took her hair down before her date with Peter but retied them here. Yes, you keep that ponytail, woman! Lol

I imdb-ed Tim and apparently he was on The 100 but I've never watched so don't know how big his role was. Ngl when you were wondering where you've seen him before my first thought was on this show in 4x01 😆

I think Peter gave Lincoln frameless glasses so that Olivia would really notice him. Another parallel to the MOTW

I'm finally caught-up with your reactions, and in some of them when you talk about Fauxlivia I can't hear the difference which one you're saying, because you pronounce them too quietly. Either way, I actually think a better name for her would be Altlivia.

Boy that sure is a twist at the end 😂, can’t talk about that for now because i would risk spoiling something but yeah there is a lot more to that scene than it looks. A quieter episode with a pretty cool’s “monster of the week” in U-gene, as always they were able to draw a pretty good parallel between him and Olivia and her feelings of loneliness and not being able to fit in this world, Og timeline Olivia was already an hearth breaking character but this version feel so much more lost without Peter, which is crazy because you would think that having Nina as a stepmother rather than growing up only with her dying mother and sister would have made her a little more secure about her place in the world but she somehow ended feeling more lost. We didn’t get a lot of Peter in this ep but the few scenes were really good at showing how much he is struggling in this new timeline and that scene with Lincoln was great as was the one between Olivia and Astrid where she asks her if it’s weird that she doesn’t talk to anyone. It definitely feels weird having Peter help someone else “score” with Olivia 😅😅, but i do think that is mostly his self protection mechanism going up and trying to separate this Olivia from his own so that he doesn’t have to think about the implications of it. Can’t wait for today’s episode, we are really getting into the juicy stuff and much like you saw at the end this episode the real plot of the season is finally emerging…

Yeah i agree, the Olivia and Lincoln pairing never gave me much in terms of romantic chemistry either, which again like you mention it’s weird because i too do ship other version of them together, just not this one, i think for me the main thing is that they feel too similar to each other in most scenes and it does feel like Olivia is mostly seeking a connection with him because she feels lonely and detached and she got spooked by Peter’s appearance and Lincoln is one of the few people she can actually talk to about work stuff so he kind of feels like the only option, which is never how Peter felt in the og timeline.

lincoln, i adore you, but im gonna need you to stop trying to blow holes in my ship with your perfection omg i was wondering why the julie the elevator girl looked familiar. she's from season one spn! she was the pastor's daughter in the hook man episode, if you can remember that far back lol the parallel between olivia getting ready to go out with peter the first time (when she saw the glimmer) and letting her hair down, and going to meet lincoln and intentionally putting her hair back up. very interesting, her guard is still somewhat up or she wasnt looking to impress? maybe some part of her really was just looking for friendship, which is sweet
