Hello All!

The Sister has finally arrived!...or has she?! Time will tell. Felt nice to learn more about Mulder's family and childhood. It seems so pained but you can also see how much love he has for the women in his life too. He has a very caring nature even if sometimes he has to be firm. I hope Scully doesnt end up bound and gagged AGAIN! That cliff hanger was a killer! Great episode!

Much love

Dakara x

Ah yes, the famous "Mulder and Scully play phone tag for half the episode" episode.

Robert

Of course the victim would live in Germantown, how on the nose can you get! This is another one of the two part stories. I love them because they allow the characters to get more fleshed out. The idea of aliens inhabiting a cloned/deceased body is not a new one. In fact, very little of this episode is original. That doesn't mean it's not good though. The suspense and intrigue is still top notch. The real question here, is what is really going on? Maybe this guy that's doing all the killing is really some kind of lawman from the stars. And yes, that is also from a sci-fi movie, "I come in peace.". Quick update, I recently went to watch "I Come in Peace", and found that it was Re-titled "Dark Angel". Not sure why.

This is the meat of the Alien conspiracy arc. Just like humanity, the aliens have different loyalties and factions. And the twist of Samantha's abduction...pins and needles.

Mulder you don't seem to be doing too well with neckties. Your ugly tie rating has jumped from 5.8 a month ago to a 7.6 mah man. P.S. Yeah that bounty hunter wasn't Biff lol.

DakaraJayne

Never catch me on a bad day 😅🤣 the ties will get it haha

I'm glad Fox isn't completely convinced right away. It is SO suspicious. She claims to have her memories remembered but only shows up once Fox is investigating the murders of the people who raised her. Highly convenient timing, no? lol

Calvin Siler

Germantown is a real place just outside Washington DC in Maryland. The writers always did a pretty good job of using real place names when they could even though it was all filmed in British Columbia.

We were so waiting for you to reach this episode. To say we are back with a bang is the understatement of the Series. First surprise here is that David Duchovny actually co-wrote this one with Chris Carter, and secondly of course we have the Relentless Shape Shifting Alien Bounty Hunter played by Brian Thompson, he was of course The Master's Henchman Vampire Luke, in S1 E1,E2 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and also played The Judge in S2 as well. A brilliant episode with Mulder and Scully checking on obituaries of the dead doctors, and all seem to be the same. With the crashed aircraft, all hell is let loose as The Alien Bounty Hunter is recognised by the clones. We also have one of the major shocks of the show when Mulder's father calls him to tell him to come home, and we see what appears to be Samantha returning since her abduction in 1973. All this leads to a thrilling episode as the Alien Bounty Hunter hunts down the clones, and great scene when Scully gets the phone call from Mulder and he appears to be in the same room with her at the time. My favourite part of this is however the ending when it says 'To Be Continued' just love that old style ending leading on to an epic End Game. This is really the true start of The X-Files, quality from here on in is off the charts!
