Hello All!

Garner, I wished for a better end. Lee you held your head high and did so well, congrats on the promotion. Starbuck you are one hell of a pilot! Roslyn, I'm glad you protected the pregnant lady, hard to protect all ladies...will Gaius become president following this decision???

Much love

Dakara x

Garner was not cut out for command. In his own element he was probably brilliant, but outside that space he would've left a lot to be desired. He showed his inadequacies very clearly in his attitude toward Starbuck and Lee. Rosalyn was in a difficult position all through this episode. It was clear that some internal battle was going on. Two of her main priorities conflicted with each other, it was inevitable that one would have to be set aside. It was clear from the aftermath that she wasn't happy with it. Baltar's announcement was a little sudden. She must have been expecting some pushback, but hot right there during her press conference. Also if Baltar's speech had come from anyone else it would have been a good one. Not sure I like the pairing of Lee and Dualla. It seems forced.

Gias gias gias you don't even wanna be president 🤷what the frig my dude lol. I'm glad Lee and Starbuck sem to now be on better terms as you say dak they have far better chemistry than Lee and the other chick . That commander was such a dumbass when there is a chance it could be a trap you don't just ignore it that's so dumb and a mistake he won't make again . Another good episode and really good reaction and outro as always dak . Hope you have a cracking weekend

I appreciate your very careful analysis of Roselyn's decision in this episode. So often, people have a knee-jerk reaction and leave it there. And half of viewers will have approved of her decision while half will think it horrific. Ronald D. Moore, one of the 2 co-creators of the show, said as recently as a couple weeks ago that BSG presented moral questions all the time, but they never told the audience what the right answer or right/moral way to think was. I think a lot of more recent shows do too much telling the audience the moral answer rather than letting us decide for ourselves. Finally, it was a single line, but when Dee and Lee were getting out of bed, one of them mentioned it had been a month since the events when Lee was shot.
