Hello All!

Talk about great writing that makes you question your entire moral code and thought system HOLY!!! Gaeta was close to death here and I convinced myself that was it, thank the lord he spoke his truth BUT it also makes me wonder how many others weren't as fortunate. Roslin is back in command officially, I just hope she stands by her own rules. If all will be public then that should include herself. Sad to see Starbuck and Anders on the outs and Gaius is confirmed to be with the Cylons and he isn't so clear of mind.

Much love

Nice little star chamber they had going. It figured that Zarek created it to "pass judgement" against known Cylon "collaborators". Granted, there where had to be more than a few who willingly went along with it, but others who did what they could to resist. This type of blunt instrument would not have been able to make the distinction. Roslin's pardon was well thought out. A fresh start for anyone who may have been involved. Zarek wasn't wrong when he pointed out that the people would not forgive, or forget. To paraphrase from another show, we are not divine ethical beings. Roslin's plan is the only one that will help them move forward. Baltar being with the Cylons is something of a surprise. Because of the events on New Caprica, his usefulness to them is non-existent, and forget about him returning to the fleet. But, apparently, he still has a part to play. It was interesting that the first Cylon he spoke with was Cylon-princess. That does make a person wonder.

I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts during the Circle's deliberations. It was VERY well done that you paused the video so you could get all your thoughts out there without missing vital dialog. I know you have done that now and then, and I hope you continue to embrace that approach in the future! It's great to hear your insights without you missing stuff! These characters seem so real. We really do feel for them when we see how incredibly broken they can get!

I loved that you paused during the Circle deliberations. So much information being given while they discuss and talk over each other. Please do it again if you feel the need. To me, the big difference between Jammer and Gaeta, isn't about how close the Circle was to them. Because Chief knew Jammer very well. Jammer was a mechanic who served on his crew aboard the Galactica since before the show started. The difference is that they knew Jammer was a part of the police force and saw them rounding up people who were taken away to get killed. Jammer was actively and noticeably helping the Cylons. Whereas for Gaeta, they just knew he was around the decision makers, but had no actual evidence about he did to help the Cylons. One of my favorite things about this show is when they give a morality question, and there is no clear answer. Either side has legitimate points to consider. P.S. If anyone spoils anything for you, they will be judged guilty as a cylon collaborator and punished accordingly.

Ngl this episode did my swede in , let's think humanity was almost wiped out so let's deal our own justice and space people cuz yeah we can really afford to lose more of the human race oh but wait let's not even let them defend themselves 🤦 guilty or innocent havnt we lost enough put the guilty on a ship together or something don't just in essence murder them . Glad roslin made the decision she made hopefully people can respect her decision and move forward. Great reaction as always dak . Oh unrelated prime dropped carrie the series and I'm 2 episodes in , it's a fresh take on the movie 🔥

The way I see it, Gaeta joined the legitimate Colonial govt and just continued his position, reporting to Baltar, after the cylon takeover. However he was secretly helping the resistance the whole time and like Chief said, is the only reason they are all alive. He was a double agent for the humans. Jammer, on the other hand, signed up with the cylons directly, and reported to them directly, legitimizing their takeover. He was a double agent for the cylons. They have always looked so different to me.
