a day early I know, but enjoy guys. 1x05 reaction will be up tomorrow as usual, early access to The Devil's Trap & above.

Hello All!

Fun episode with the MOTW. Billy had my attention, was he working his magic on me? Who knows? I hope to see him again though. The main aspect of this one though is the Captain reveal - that was HUGE & I wanna know so much more. I'm guessing he is high up on the Reaper ladder & he clearly has power. On to the next one.

Have a lovely week everyone! Thank you for the constant love & support!

Much love

Dakara x

Michele

This was a bit of a slow episode, but still had some bits I liked. It took me a while to get hooked into the characters, but I was interested in the overall story and in the creatures. But, Monroe clicked with me right away and I liked seeing him pop up in an episode by this point. I think he brings an important element to the show. I like procedurals, but I want there to be an interesting story and want to care about the characters. Your questions will be answered in upcoming episodes. The waterfall you saw is called Multnomah Falls and is about 1 hour east of Portland. It's a popular tourist stop. There are several waterfalls along the Columbia River.

I do remember watching this show from the first episode & that it was a bit of a slow burner in terms of becoming a 'must watch', beloved type show for me. I can't remember when the shift happened, but I went from 'Hmm interesting stories, I am intrigued' to 'OMG I cannot miss an episode, I love these characters' almost without even noticing I was falling in love with the show. The actor who plays Sean Renard (Sascha Roiz) was really awesome with engaging with Grimm fans as well. He did actually develop quite a loyal following of fans (both as himself and as Renard), and I think a lot of that had to do with how he conducted himself around the fans.

Great reaction as always dak!

Michele

Yeah. Is also ingratiated himself with the people of Portland. He's really a good guy and very approachable.

Ian

woman in white on a bridge seems familiar :) enjoyable reaction as always dak , mentally though i keep find myself thinking once upon a time is just so much better but hey its early days yet right :)

Scarlet

I love the characters in Grimm in the first season at least because they're people, they're not overly dramatic and broody really, they're just people who have fairly reasonable reactions to things (within the context of magical lore at least).

The Mad Titan

Agreed, they are very down to earth people, at least in context of the show. This show does get better as it goes on.

Dexter

Hello Dakara...just wanted to tell you something fun about this episode. The French "Reaper" in this episode is the SAME reaper that tried to reap Bobby in Supernatual!!! And also...you will see actors on this show that have appeared on other shows like supernatural.
