Morning everyone <3 Here's another TGP reaction for you all to enjoy,

I'm not crying, you're crying! What an episode! I loved seeing the real bad place & our group within it trying to blend in. Tahani was brilliant! Loved the accent haha. I felt for Chidi being out of his comfort zone but I feel it did him well in the end. The best part of this one had to be Michael for me though, that selfless act he did at the end was so precious, I had a lump in my throat! So good. Cant wait to see where this show leads me.

Now at this point in the story you realize how much Micheal has changed. He started the season as this horrible demon whose only goal was to torture these 4 people. He learned that it is not as easy as he thinks and decides to work with them for his own goals to succeed under vicky nose but must take ethics lessons as well. He struggled to understand the trolley problem in 2x6 and learned to sincerely apologize for his actions. He could not kill janet or hurt tahani and jason relationship. when he was offered everything he wanted in 2x9 he still chose to save them and now after 802 reboots he has given himself up for them using the trolley problem. A great character journey. What i like about this episode and this season is instead of being all about being good it teaches lessons on why being "bad" is not always bad as well. Eleanor showed chidi why lying is sometimes a good thing and even jason shows an example of why his implusive recklessness has its uses in certain situations( his molotov cocktail saved them)

Not sure if you caught it, but when the train pulls up at the station in the Bad Place, you can see a banner on the wall advertising Pirates of the Caribbean 6. Truly a movie for hell.

I agree with you on why this show is brilliant, it’s an ode to humanity in all its aspects, good and bad, deep and shallow, big and tiny, genius and stupid. So, you know, emotion is bound to come and get ya. 😅

All 4 seasons of The Good Place are so strong. It only gets better. I think you are going to really enjoy this series. The writers definitely know how to have those deep impactful moments in the midst of all the comedy. I can't wait for you to do the next episode. I'm now craving Burrito's...

This is such a clever and witty show that it can be easy to get lost in the humour of it but episodes like this with Michael at the end really bring you back to the heart of it, and you’ll find there are more and more moments like that coming too, as the stakes just get progressively higher and higher for them. Everyone in this show has great character development but I think Michael’s is extraordinary. I can’t wait to see you continue to watch it. I’m so glad you are loving this show. Next we’ll have to get you onto Schitt’s Creek. It’s another gold star gem.
