Barely noticed, get well soon little G. 💜 This season has been full of twists and turns so far and it doesn't really slow down at all from here. A few of the twists you have already kind of foreshadowed in episodes past and I can't wait to se you react to them, you will have feelings. And yes, this really is a Key episode 😉 for a few of the storylines. Looking forward to the next few episodes, especially 5x12 as it was the 100th episode of the the series and is also really good. Love always xx

I haven't been commenting on the last few uploads and I messaged you to explain why, but I had to for this one as it's one of my favorite episodes. I had called certain episodes The Monroe Show (10/10 on IMDb natch) in past comments, but this one was The Monroe Show Christmas episode. What a gift! I don't remember a lot about this era of Grimm as there were a lot of things going on at the time, so I would miss episodes, etc. My heart was hurting when he found out about Uncle Felix and then it was racing when he exacted revenge. Speaking of Uncle Felix, I thought it would have been brilliant to have him join the team as the book-obsessed researcher, sort of like a cute, funny, adorable, older Wesley. That's a "no" from Black Claw. The keys! Finally we're getting somewhere with that storyline as it was so important but then didn't really come up for a long time, and I think I remember you mentioning that a few times. There were a couple of things that I thought could have had more attention to detail, like the scene in the kitchen when Nick is taking the groceries out of the bags: how many cherry and grape tomatoes do you use? Why do you need what looks like two+ pounds of asparagus? I have a hard time eating three bananas before they turn black, but six? (that could be a me thing though). Also, a continuity error there, but I can be slightly anal-retentive (why God?). Second thing was how they were handling these impossibly rare, one of a kind, hand-written and drawn 600 year old books. This isn't Harry Potter, put on cotton gloves and gently turn the pages (I'm a book guy). I know, I know, petty stuff and it's a TV SHOW BRIAN. As always, thank you for the enjoyable time and it was nice that Grayson could join you. See you tomorrow Dak!

It's been quite the while since I watched Grimm as the show aired, but I remember reacting to the last 5 mins of this episode just as you did. I felt those second hand chills. Apart from the supernatural elements and the incredible acting as you've mentioned, the show always seems to inspire a sense of wonder, adventure and discovery, kinda like a combo of Buffy and SPN, with a sprinkling of a good old treasure hunt.

The Mad Titan

I've been looking forward to watching you make it to this point in the season. It's so good. The next few weeks of Buffy, Angel, and Grimm are all really great. You're going to have a wonderful time, and thankfully we will all be here to watch it with you. Hope your son feels better, and good job today.

Loved your reaction. I finally caught up to your Grimm and Angel reactions and almost caught up with Buffy. Yay! This episode had me on the edge of my seat, just expecting things to turn bad at any moment. So it was really a surprise to me that they were actually able to get the trunk and books intact. And then those keys! It was nice to see them finally get back into the story. I've had a hard time with the whole Adaline/Nick/Juliette/Eve situation. I just wasn't able to forget that so much of the crap that's happened is because of Adaline and wonder how different it might have been if it weren't for her. But, I was slowly getting over it by this point. The frank conversations they're all having about it are helping. It was a smart move to have the writers bring it all out and have them talk about it instead of making us come up with our own head canon about it, to make it work. Still odd to think that Nick and Adaline might be a Thing. I wasn't really ready to think about that actually happening. This Black Claw needs to be dealt with. But how? They seem really entrenched and wide spread. And what is going on with Renard? He doesn't really seem like he wants to be involved with what's going on anymore and is moving towards politics now. ugh
