Poll 39 Results, Poll 40 and This Week (Patreon)

Another win for Modern Infantry Firepower in last week's poll, so it's off to the ranges with them. There's plenty of NATO infantry to choose from in Shock Force- it might be time for Dutch or Canadians to shine.

In other news, Semper Fi Syria Mission 7 is played through and scripted out- it's a chunky one, but getting it recorded and filmed by the end of the week shouldn't be a problem. Definitely an interesting mission with some entertaining sections- from Marines sneaking up on BMPs, to a Lt Col. wandering into an artillery barrage, to plunging into an ambush alley against the clock in pursuit of some questionable touch objectives...

It's out of the way though and we're linking up with the Army north of Homs in the next mission, which promises to be smaller but not necessarily easier!

Beyond that the War Room is next in the rotation- I'm back to leaning on the Battle of Ferrybridge (if nothing else, actually doing a video on it will stop it creeping onto my radar every time!). Given the lack of information, it might be an interesting excercise to take the few facts, apply some knowledge of medieval warfare and try and see what we can piece together ie. given the broad strokes, how can we fill in the details?We'll see. Back to the polls- we're back round to WW2 and Infantry Firepower is out of the mix because it won last time, leaving us with Armour Penetration and Arty/CAS tests.
