The Persian Predicament continues! I thought it'd be fun to track predictions as the battle goes on, so there's another poll down below. Same as last time, let's see if anyone's opinions have changed with the second 7 minutes...

In the meantime, I've been beavering away at some bits and bobs. I've got another micro-unit guide in the works- with a bit of luck I can get the time for one of those down to a couple of days. Which means more of them.

Still need to crack on with that TDG walkthrough though...

Anyway, lets see what you guys think now:(I feel like I should point out I'm talking about narrative victory here. The CM scoring is a factor in that, but is basically a super-simplified means of assessing ground control.)

Here is one way to think of victory in narrative terms: US Major - Soviet defeat with US capable of company level defensive operations. US Minor - Soviet defeat with US capable of platoon level defensive operations. Draw - mutual punch out similar to your Op Balaclava video. Soviet Minor - US defeat with Soviets capable of company level defensive operations. Soviet Major - US defeat with Soviets capable of company level offensive operations. Lots of room for subjective opinions on how those terms are interpreted. Also difficult to achieve objective results in 30 minutes. Just a way to continue the discourse beyond one small engagement in the context of larger operational and strategic goals.
