i was just watching some eps/arcs i never see of the alicia reacting and just ended Skypiea arc and can say, they do mentioned a lot of stuff from Wano back there, specially since Oda originally wanted Skypiea to be the last story and ended up that the onepeice was in the sky and not in the sea, but changed his mind but still make it so Skypiea is super relevant for everything in the story, from the Giant Jack being a story of a "giant killer" (for when they ended up travelling to the giants territory) and they mentioned another entrance to the Sky islands that is supposed to be in a place really high up... like a Giants territory... They also tell us about the Sun God being "the god of fun and liberation" from which the Shandorians (and Jayans in the past of Noland) pray and celebrate and do partys in the same style as the strawhats did with the wolfs and the party feast at the end, and i just watched alicia there saying to skypieans: "you dont need to pray to a god, you need to pray to luffy, he is your god now!" I think we need more of that here...

That’s why I specified reading a book about obscure indigenous cultures that was written long before One Piece was first published and reviewing a part of the show that she already watched. At a certain point in this story you sorta have to start researching stuff like this in order to fully understand what’s going on with the lore because it’s becoming very clear that Oda isn’t going to spoon feed us all the answers.

Honestly I hope she doesn't. That is what would kill a reaction for me. I know some reactors who caught up anime side then read the manga and were therefore not surprised by anything anymore, which i feel is the point of reaction videos. To show your genuine first time reaction to things. It kinda takes the wind out of the sails if theyre like "oh shit, this is when [xyz] happens!" and its like "oh okay well, guess theres no genuine reactions anymore". But then again im an anime only guy so i stay away from the manga and spoilers and such

i disagree with Kanjuro.... i think the fact he died doing what he loved is a good ending for him, and he did deserve it. the people of his own country killed his family in front of him, his whole existence after that was just completely void and hollow.... he only followed Orochi's instruction because he hoped that revenge against the Kozuki Clan and the whole Wano Country would give him some kind of satisfaction or closure.... but behind all the laughing and the mocking... he was still just that hollow man, hoping to find the perfect moment to cease to exist. The real Kanjuro died the moment his parents died, so the fact he was able to find that perfect moment to finally fall and rest... putting an end to his miserable and emotionless existence....... was a beautiful thing (in my opinion).

Kiku going down to the SECOND fake Oden is so fucking dumb. No, there is no sympathetic justification. Kiku hardened their resolve after literally watching Ashura get killed by the first one, hesitating against someone using the exact same trick that killed your friend extremely recently and that you know is trying to kill Momonosuke makes you look like a complete shit retainer. Fucking hate it.

I kinda get the feeling that the people who killed his family weren't actually people of his country, maybe they worked for Kaido, or if they were then maybe they were manipulated into doing it. I wouldn't be surprised if that old lady with the clone fruit and the finger-crossing shield old guy were targeting their own family members just so they could create easy to use pawns like Kanjuro and the bucktoothed dumbass shogun that I forgot the name of.

Nah... that's too much of a stretch, it is explicitly said that the entire Kurozumi Clan was persecuted because of the crime Orochi's Grandfather committed. Normal people can be shitty too if given the right input. It doesn't make sense that Kaido's goons would go after a specific clan of people for that reason, if anything.... Kaido would've liked to recuit them all... given that the whole country turned against them. And it also doesn't make sense that the two old guys were the ones to do it.... they are also part of the clan, and there are NO HINTS of them having a hidden motive that could explain why they would do something like that
