I'll never ever forget the look on Kaido's face when he hit Luffy. That moment right there sealed the deal for me that he's one of the best character's in One Piece. No words needed to be spoken just the emotion of sadness of a man that wants desperately to feel alive. Just that one emotion conveyed so much about him as a character.

Still funny to me that Alicia had PTSD from the Sky Island arc all because Kaido trapped Luffy in his mouth for like a few seconds. I completely forgot they got trapped in a giant snake, even the anime has never mentioned it again after it happened, but Alicia? Nah, that shit lives rent-free in her head. She'll never let it die. When the anime finally ends, if we are still alive to see it, she'll be the first to bring up the Sky Island snake. Trust.
