There is no top tier that just “clears” another top tier. When you reach that height of power, every battle with an opponent of equal caliber is gonna be high-extreme diff. It’s like saying Kaido “clears” Big Mom, or Akainu “clears” Kuzan. Yeah, they might win, but either way the winner would be damn near dead. Also, I personally think that GB would beat Fujitora just based off of his versatility with his DF. And it’s not like he’s dumb in terms of battle IQ, since he identified that his main weakness is fire, so he trained to be able to resist fire attacks.

Remember that while Japanese authors often pull from Christian mythology for stories, there's a lot of other mythology out there to reference. When this chapter came out, many were comparing it to Japanese yokai mythology. Also, a reminder that the series has referenced gods before. One of the Sun, one of Forrest, one of Rain, and one of Earth. Meanwhile, the Ocean has said to be the Mother of Nature and hates Devil Fruits for being unnatural, and "Mu" in Japanese means Sea. Many have speculated this is may be related to Imu's name.

The exact nature of the Elders Powers and relationship to Imu I think is still largely a mystery. I think all that can be said at this point is that their power is unnatural (I would go so far as to say inhuman or even eldritch horror in nature) and that Imu is their master. Also, like Alicia, I feel bad for Shirahoshi. She finally works up the nerve to go to the surface and some fat POS tries to chain her up not once, but twice! Girl is going to need therapy. I think she’s too pure though to wind up racist.

The 5 Elders are Zoan Devil Fruit users. Also, her idea that Imu is sorta making them turn into those demonic creatures certainly lines up with a lot of theories about the Elders and their powers and existence as a whole. I just can't wait for her to truly catch up. New episode drops this upcoming Sunday.

I suspect because for them all Devil Fruits are just child toys, they only have a slight fear it seems for the Nika Fruit, and even then it seems more like "lets not get repeat of history"
