Hell yeah im sorry did u say eww on brit? 😭😭 i feel offended 😔😭😂 BTW parachuting car out of a plane is normal well in the military it is so its not that far off

Sil3nt

i was jusst rewatching the 6 reaction holy W

MikeT54

So I’m not afraid to admit it, I grew up with these movies. I never had Brothers but Dom and Brian and therefore vin and Paul felt like my big brothers. I love these movies, when Paul died I felt like my big brother died and I cried. Then I saw this in theaters opening weekend and the ending had me and other grown men in tears. It’s cliche but the whole cast felt like my family since I’ve been with them since 2001 and I was 8. I’m crying again now lol

Trevor Appel

What I found irritating is that they hyped Shaw up to be a major badass but only had him be a minor inconvenience throughout the movie.

Aethergoggles

Had to pause as key said about car up a building, trying to remember if this is the one with the skyscrapers.. cant wait

Mr I like spam

Furious7 aka the most anime shōnen one.

Chamoun101

RiP Paul Walker! 🙏

Shadowsofpain

Any time you see a superimposed Brian face the body is being played by his brother

EliteEdge

All the cast coming together to support Paul’s family afterwards was so wholesome. Seeing how Vin was the one who walked Paul’s daughter down the aisle at her wedding makes you realize the “family” thing isn’t just a running gag. They all took that seriously off set too.

The Lazy Gamer

Since Paul's brother's facial structure was so similar to his, they had him do the stand-in shots of Brian.

stijn Arts

The Ending still gets to me. Whats even more beautiful about it is how the cast handled Paul Walkers passing; Vin Diesel named his daughter Pauline, after Paul, and walked Paul Walker's daughter down the isle as her godfather.

Tor Andre Frantsvaag

OH YEAH ONE OF MY FAV ONES BECOUSE of how over the top it goes XD

Vendacator

This one qas wild, but it only gets more wild

Uncle Urdnot

Yo I’m at work yall can’t make me cry here 😭

RedRam-Ipsen

What Time Is It? That's Right... It's Diesel Time Bitches.

Tor Andre Frantsvaag

correct me if im wrong but wasint it Paul Walkers brother that played his character after his passing in this movie , becouse they looked similar or am i thinking about a diffrent movie ?

C.Nyx

Probably a bad take, but... while i like Charlie Puth's part in this song, why not Ludacris for the other?

EliteEdge

Sort of. He filled in as his body double and they CGIed to make him look more like Paul.

pyrohawk69

I've seen this movie numerous times, but the ending hits so much closer in the last few years because my brother passed, and he's the one that got me into the movies, starting with the first one.

Hexx Gear

Ok im only 45 min using while commenting this... but going by the reactions of you two and lack of subject... Do yall two not know who Jason Statham is? Our Shaw black ops? So many both good and bad movies he has been in. Some would say He is the British equivalent to Dwayne as far as acting. "Oh this guy can only do one role the action man hard-A character." Chat/Viewers can we recommend quite the handful of Stathom movies and franchises to Alica to do one off reacts? Expendable, Crank, (and Driver or whatever its called where he is like a bad Ahh dedicated driver. Has like three movies I think. I forgot the name) We got potential of funny reactions and our own inside joke or what not for Alica depending on what she thinks of him

SilverWolf1293

That ending is the most beautifully done in the entire series. The farewell tribute they paid to Paul after the many years of making us fall in love with not just the character but Paul himself, so beautiful and sad. And the pain you can see in the rest of the casts eyes as they look on in farewell, and the fact that Paul's brother was willing to act out the ending with Paul's face super imposed on him for the farewell is so beautiful. RIP Paul 🥺😭

Xu

No one is ever ready for that ending... absolutely wrecks me every time! The actor for Mia saying goodbye to Brian was shot after his death so that was truly her saying goodbye to him. I learned Paul and I share our birthday so now on my birthday I go cruising for him. RIP Paul Walker, happy early birthday!

Jorden Powell

"I hope he gets every Martial Arts role now" guys that's Tony Jaa.... He's such a badass in those films already. O'Connor should not have won this, only did due to plot armor lol

Natsu_Graeme

Yup that ending will always get you, it was such a lovely way for them to say goodbye. Your comments about how the cast handle promo and stuff after just reminds me of Vin accepting an award for the movie (or possibly one of the other movies I forget what one) and his reaction is so heart breaking accepting it without Paul.

Jordan Grinde

I cant watch this movie without forgetting that Elsa Pataky is Chris Hemsworth's wife now. Damn has time passed by.

Cole Savoie

remember when they used to have to prep to drift a corner to avoid a camera? I remember

MikeT54

So they did most of his scenes already. Scenes they changed they used audio from unused scenes from old movies. For the ending they had his brother who looks almost identical to him, they had him as a stand in and for scenes where you see his face close up they did a little cgi face swapping. The very end in the car is his brother with the face superimposed

ethxn.02

A lot of the film structure would unfortunately have to do with the tragic death of Paul, I did a lot of research into the original script and Brian’s commitment to his future with the crew was less of a focus, while it was always in there originally it was ultimately resolved at the end where Brian would decide that the choice between his criminal activities and espionage or his family were two in the same and that he would be able to do both. But once he passed away, the big overarching story that took over the film and turned it in a reshoot fest, was that this was Brian’s last mission. In the original script there was a lot more for Deckard to do, but with more screen time dedicated to retooling the script, a lot of it is just cut or some of it was never filmed with the changes done to the script.

mld-Drake

idk if that ending will ever not be devastating. such a nice tribute to Paul

TLKDesu

the moment you guys started watching this series I told my self I would at least watch just for this moment because it's a fantastic tribute for him.

Jeff Churchill

The series you are thinking about is "Transporter" not Driver. That being said if she hasn't watched it already then I'd throw The Italian Job on that list. Great movie

CrimsonWarrior55

You two being obsessed with Sean's five o clock shadow is so funny to me. I had one in high school myself. I remember one of my teachers telling me I needed to shave before coming to school, and when I told her I did, she pulled my goatee and said if I did I wouldn't have it. Like, bitch I can't control my hair!

Adam

Reminder that was actually a rumor with no evidence backing it, and you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet at face value.

dc

Alicia, that martial arts legend's name is Tony Jaa! You both should absolutely check out the Ong Bak series, which he's the main star of.

Vectoris

Did they watch a shorter version of the movie? I don't remember Shaw walking out of the hospital being that sped up. And didn't Nobody get hit while he was reloading his guns? Maybe I'm just losing it.

QuibblesAndGitz

Before I started watching these with you all, I had only watched the first 3 as they came out. 4 and 5 were fine, but 6 and 7 were where the dumb overblown hilarious action I was waiting for finally kicked in, and combining that with with the emotional punch from ending, this is probably my second favorite

Vectoris

So, for Brian's scenes after Paul died, it was a mix of stringing together shots/audio from previous movies and unused scenes, and having Paul's brothers come in as doubles. Paul's brothers actually look very similar to him, so visually, it mostly works.

JosephBob

What I remember most is how much Paul's death affected everyone else in the cast. Tyrese Gibson crying, Michelle Rodriguez went on a bender for a while till she got help from friends. They really loved him.

TSP247

I love the Paul walker tribute at the end and I love the song they made for it. I like that paul's brothers helped finish the movie and that paul's daughter meadow was taken in by vin diesel. also I have been looking into his death apparently roger rodas was driving. also most people missed it but Meadow had a cameo in one of the newest movies.

Arrow

Ok, so hear me out. Fast and Furious, Time travel. And we can retcon tokyo drift's main protagonist that way

bruce lee

car sticking to the side of a building huh .... you ever watch night watch or day watch with the rx8 drifting on the side of a building. also if anyone dosent know what movie im talking about you probly seen the trailer where a man t poses in front of a bus to crash / stop it then takes a step back and yells.

Lance Ivy

Idk if yall noticed but the guy who crashed into that tree stub at 1:11:47 is the same guy who from fast and furious 2 when Brian won his car in that tag team race 💀

Sage of All knowing

24:33 maybe it wasnt send through air and he just call someone to make a bomb and and put it in the package and make it look like it was send from han from tokoyo

QuibblesAndGitz

To be fair, Brian was mostly losing the actual fights, he just used environment to cheat out a win at the end

QuibblesAndGitz

Snatch is a great movie I'd recommend, and one of the few where he is plays a lead character that isn't a main badass. The first Transporter was the basically the origin of every other action star he plays

Jorden Powell

Yeah that's what I mean by plot armor. When I watched it the first time I was thinking he should definitely lose this fight. Then when he won I was like yeah, that's about the only way he would've won lol

GT QcNumber1 Vézina

yeah the ending I knew you wouldn't be ready for it, even today with how many years has passed, it stills makes me cry to this day. a beautiful homage to Paul. may he rest in peace.

SquaredSpekz

Paul Walker's brothers played him after he passed. The CGI work is so good it took you until that point to notice when there's already been so much CGI Brian e.g. when the house blew up.

Nick Lopez

Mando is Romeo Santos in real life. He is a Spanish singer who makes alot of bachata and other types of Spanish songs. At the time of this movie he would have been in between his albums formula vol 2. and Golden. Romeo santos also used to be apart of a group called Aventura. Romeo and his cousin Henry. And Lenny and his brother Max, but the 4 of them are not all related to each other but all share the same last name. I'm sure many people have heard Romeo santos music without even knowing his name. Most popular according to Google is propuesta indecente which is a pretty good song. My favorite song would have to be No tiene La culpa for Romeo santos and un beso for Aventura. Rip Paul walker though, its been 10 years since this movie and it doesn't even feel like that long ago, it really makes you appreciate the first 3 movies for the nostalgia but also for how perfect they were, Paul walker in real life was a car enthusiast and he really was Brian O'Connor, except for law enforcement side... he wasn't just playing a part in a movie, he was really acting within himself.

Nic Woolfe

No way, this got uploaded the same time as the Twilight reaction/commentary? I guess, unlike The Rock, I had my veggies before I had dessert. I look forward to crying at the ending again.

Switchchris27

This was the last Fast and Furious movie that I enjoyed, everything after it just felt wrong and then they just fully jumped the shark imo. The ending of this movie messed me up so bad that just hearing part of that song makes me cry. Rewatching it now has me balling my eyes out.

Supermew

I love Roman in these films. He's so goddamned fun.

Darchangel

I guess Key forgot, but he straight up guessed the building to building stunt in 2 Fast lol

Nic Woolfe

Yeah, the rest of the movies just feel off without Paul Walker. Even this movie feels weird when you notice how much of his scenes are him not saying anything/people talking *at* him, but at least they did have him for the film. And now there’s rumors that Brian may be recasted in the future? It’s just not right

TwinCat

The ending is so beautiful, man!! 😭

Jake_Whiteshirt

That ending gets me every time! Also the character fighting Brian is played by Tony Jaa, a great martial artist out of Thailand. Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior (2003) & The Protector (2005) are the first movies I ever saw him in an he performs some amazing stunts.

jamante marcelo

Both of you getting 2 crazy scenes few centimeters off, is crazy. lmao

James William MacShane

One thing no one watching has realized until it was pointed out was during the final scene with Dom and "Brian" driving along is it is an homage to the missing man formation. The Air Force "missing man formation" is a ceremonial flyover to honor fallen service members. Typically, a group of four aircraft flies in a V-shape, and at the moment they pass a memorial, one plane breaks off and climbs sharply, leaving a space in the formation to represent the missing pilot. This symbolic salute is one of the highest honors for a deceased aviator, and the tradition dates back to World War II. They retooled it for vehicles with "Brian's" car pulling off to exit and from what I remember hearing it was kept to 2 cars as Vin's final "goodbye" to Paul from brother to brother.

JaKighCooperMoore

In case you didn’t know Alicia the cars out of the plane scene was real

Rez Instance

Those last 5 minutes always make me ugly cry.
