I watched the episode Yesturday and when I saw how Dark the visual novel he is playing actually is... I honestly expected you to freak out more then you did here lol. That shit is far darker then Doki allowed itself to be. I mean sure it showed Suicide and Obsession, but it was really just 2 moments in the entire game and they always Pulled back and Monika straight up says that they do it because she altered their Code to make them do it, not because of some Trauma or anything. This shit would have RUINED me if I played it when I was younger lol.

If it’s nearing the end of this season and they are seemingly ending it with the photo shoot of the Coffin game. There’s a fair bit left in the manga but not sure it’s enough for a full 12 episodes of another season. But also way too much to cram it all in the next two episodes. I’m a bit worried as to what they’ll do, maybe they can flesh out the end a bit as the last 10 chapters did feel a bit sped through. Oh well, home stretch of season 2 here we go.

I love this show, Its very slow progression but its so high quality that I dont mind it.. I heard its close to ending and it made me sad. They have not hold hands yet - but Ill continue this until they are married with kids lol off topic but if The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity is almost done airing and it would be great romance replacement for Dressup darling - its very similar in the way it makes you feel with just awesome charachters.

Awwww, so great to see little Marin and Marin’s dad, who got cut from S1. If only Marin had mentioned a name on the train, Nowa would have been all over that! The stakes have been set. TBH I don’t think Gojo’s ready yet. You can’t have a healthy relationship if you don’t feel equal with a prospective partner and for him, she’s still up on that pedestal. Not that things would go as badly as Marin fears, but I fear he would feel an uncomfortable tension trying to maintain what they have. I am looking forward to what Fukuda-sensei comes up with for her next manga.

Honestly, the aesthetic and story of that Coffin game makes me wish someone would make a real version. It's really cool and gut-wrenching just from the bits we get to see.

In the whole series most likely, since there is only 2 short arcs after the Coffin arc. There isn't enough content for them to make a 3rd season so they either finish it now or make a special out of the last small arc.

I Just want to mention. "My dress up darling" is the localized name. The original name is "Sono bisque koi wa doll suru" It has a different translation and if you don't know what it is then that is fine do not look it up or search up the meaning. But there is a scene that might come up later in the season and knowing the original name makes it more impactfull.

I doubt they actually changed her actual dialogue. Just different translation conventions. Her response was a very curt, abrupt, and rude "be quiet". There's tons of ways to translate that.

The English translation on the manga was the best though, so I'm surprised they didn't use all that dialogue for the show
