Yeah that moment of "I killed my brother." "It's good... that you did." is such top tier writing. I've only watched the first four seasons, so I'm looking forward to experiencing beyond with you. The friend who convinced me to watch the show told me not to bother beyond season 4, but that was while it was still airing.

I think it's interesting about how this show speaks to the times it was filmed in. During the argument between the lawyers in LaGuerta's conference room, she argues that she'll convince a jury that that blood is likely not Chung's. Shows at the time played pretty fast and loose with law, so this maybe wouldn't have stood out a lot as dumb at the time. But now it's the mid 2020s and we've all watched a lot of crime tube and police cams. A much bigger number of us (especially tubers) are much more aware of the nuances of how things work at the police station than we did twenty years ago when this show and others like CSI, Law and Order, NCIS and others were the hits.
