Im so used to the fandoms opinions on episodes (9 years of influence to be fair) that its nice to see someone enjoy this episode. She's already done this the early ronaldo episodes so i shouldn't be surprised. Y'all know the real test is coming this season tho -.-

The uncle grandpa episode is kinda a so bad its kinda good type of episode. I find it mildly entertaining. Its still a bottom 5 episode but there's still at least 3 episodes I dislike more

I still don’t understand the bug crushing part. Did they want him to really kill the bug or were they just pretending again that part always disturbed me and I don’t understand why it was in the episode.

i remember everyone hating this episode back in ye olde days. now, it's fine. i still don't really care about Onion THAT much, but he's kinda cute and he doesn't deserve hate. also, it's much easier to accept this episode when you don't have to deal with the terrible Steven Bomb release schedules.

That episode is bad but i hate this episode more. Also like half of the reason why the rating for that episode is so low is cause of the hype surrounding it when it came out. Fans was basically clickbait into beleiveing we be meeting a new character. I wasn't in the fandom back then so I wasn't able to experience it so to me its just a mediocre Ronaldo episode. Also this is just my opinion but I thinl I dislike onion more than Ronaldo. Both are bottom 2 characters for me though

I do have a bone to pick with how often the show shifts focus from the galactic conflict that is reigniting for slice-of-life episodes that worked better in season 1, but the Onion family is just a joy to watch. They're all weird and accepting of eachother. That's what family should be about.

I think it's just a tradition for their group. Most kids their age, hell, most people in general, wouldn't flinch too much at the idea of squashing a random bug they just picked up two minutes earlier. It bothered Steven because he's incredibly empathetic, but it's not that out there to assume the gang makes a little ritual out of smashing the winner.
