Golden Witch Beatrice

Time to watch one of the most horrific things animated since the Rumbling already!?!?

nervouspirate

I'm the most hype I could possibly be for a reaction video right now

Robert Collard

Still get chills when I see The Watcher in the sky.

Daniel Gonzalez

My favorite ever X-Men has always been Gambit I've always thought the cards and his staff were so cool

José

This episode is the single best piece of X-men media

BlindEyiezz Z

Listen I get it, I do. Like I REALLY REALLY do! But I would not have dealt with 1/4th of what Gambit dealt with because of Rogue and Magneto. Needing to kiss Magneto for confirmation on choosing Gambit is way past too late for me 😅

Charlie baker

Marvel when its cooking right with that comic juju , the feels hit different

DiabloAnos

This episode still hurts so damn much, I'm crying.

Just a Genius

Not a dry eye in the whole god damn theatre…🥲

Soul the Bard

I love the slow transition from "damn, this show's a banger" to "well they're gonna be fine, it's a cartoon about the X-Men" to "WHAT THE ACTUAL SHIT FUCK"

Khalzone

As soon as I realized what episode this was, I knew it was gonna hit Alicia like a TRUCK

Ric

I had paused the video and was shit talking magneto for a good minute. Only to resume and see him explode. What the fuck!

Crescent Method

The curse of Alicia's Favorites strikes again

L Freya

So happy to see these pop up again so soon after the last batch, thank you!

Patrick Waldeck

Gambit never knew that Rogue chose him before he died.

"Vampire dinosaurs" is a reference to Sauron (Not the Lord of the Rings one), a scientist who turned himself into an energy sucking dinosaur person. We actually saw him in the Savage Land level of the Motendo episode. He has a very iconic line in one of the comics, though I forget who he was speaking to. X-Man: "With your genius, you could cure cancer!" Sauron: "But I don't want to cure cancer. I want to turn people into dinosaurs!" When pressed about his baby in that interview, Scott could have just said "Nathan isn't with us anymore." and I'm pretty sure the interviewer would have just dropped it. Nobody wants to talk about a dead baby. But he had to go overboard and hyper focus on the "I abandoned my son." thoughts in his head. Which, I mean... I can't blame him. I can't begin to imagine how hard it would be to lose your kid, even if they're still alive in the future somewhere. A future you know for a fact is completely devastated by war, and the only people you could send your kid to are being actively hunted by one of the most powerful mutants on earth with total control of the world's only superpower. .... ... Or was Nathan sent to the post-sentinel future? It's been a while for me, and there are so many time-travel shenanigans in the X-Men comics that the future timeline Bishop is from shifts multiple times.

PinkSylvia

This my first time watching this show. OMG I never knew a show like this could get so deep. I'm bawling my eyes out

ChaosSepher

The one Sauron was talking to in that one bit is Spider-Man

Sam Marsh

Don’t worry Gambit, your name is one we will never forget mon ami. Also, I hate the fact that we currently live in a world where the depiction of a genocide against an entire race of people and the destruction of a whole nation is shockingly topical!

LessMiserable

Bro I watched the original x-men and when I first saw this I was genuinely devastated

Liberty

Is now a good time to remind people that Rogue and Remy got happily married in the comics and they're living their absolute best life, adopting kids and being all lovey-dovey? Even went on a honeymoon in space. THEY'RE HAPPY IN THE COMICS, YA'LL! ;.;

Blizzky

No matter how many times I hear that last line from Rogue I still cry

Aliulo

I keep seeing Jean in the thumbnail and thinking it's Eve. My brain is broiled.

ComradeRaccVT

God damn it i forgot how much this episode fucked me up and it did it AGAIN. fuck man gambit my favorite xmen character too

Void

That last line by rogue fucks me up Everytime

EDub

Yeaaaa. This episoddddde 😶

Rhodair

Such a wild episode. 3 different relationship moments with Jean Wolv, Scott Madelyne, & Rogue Magneto. The Cable is Nathan moment. Madelyne, Mag, Gambit out of the picture (among millions of other deaths on Genosha)..

Sal Lopez

In Marvel Rivals when Rogue and Gambit are in the same team and Gambit dies, Rogue says "Sugar, I can't feel you"

Carlston Solar

Jean Acting like clones Space Beth from Rick and Morty

Tim Capone

Using Happy Nation for the dance is brilliant. When I was a kid during the '90s I had that album on cassette tape and played it all the time.

Accel

At least my boy is happy in Marvel rivals

Ed Ambriz

Who would've thought an analogy for racism/homophobia would have an attack from a hate group on their imagined utopia. It's not like that's ever happened...right? In all seriousness, this was a story from the comics i never thought would get animated or filmed because it's soo heavy and dark. They did it brilliantly 👏 🙌

John

The X-Men animated series that this is a continuation of was my childhood. and between Gambit and Wolverine i couldn't figure out who was my favourite. Gambit is GOATed and his powers are cool and he's suave. and I also had a huge crush on Rogue. OG southern Rogue with wild hair and super strength. Strong in heart, kind, and just wants to love. this episode fucking DESTROYED ME!

Cupcake Valkyrie

No, Scott was right from start to finish. The only reason "normal" humans are still alive in that world is because mutants exist to protect them. It's infuriating that the people in this universe constantly forget that.

Kyutoko

Oh god, Scott's crashout after they brought up his son, valid... but it's probably gonna be sooooo damaging to mutant reputation. But come on lady, you brought up the son he had to give up.
