Been waiting for this

Afell Tale

Stand and be prepared for the Queen's arrival, Rats

subete_wa

Oh boy, can't wait to see this one

Maddie

lets go

Darc Hart94

Show watchers we're all set and ready to call thragg out more on fraud watch. Comic readers just sat back with popcorn. And you know whats crazy? In the comics mark actually landed some good punches on thragg despite breaking his hand...but in the show? Thragg didn't even flinch and we saw the skull of Satan or some shit. They made thragg stronger than he used to be

Some Simp

"Not her looking at you with the fuck me eyes" Oh boy.....

Darc Hart94

The purge happened hundreds of years before nolan was born. But he survived the scourge virus that came after

PurportedGrey

Gotta love that asset flip.😂 I'm head canoning that the young Nolan reuse, was Nolan’s dad during the Purge, because why would Nolan have to prove himself after surviving the Purge.

random gamer

oliver vs thragg coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb

Darc Hart94

Alicia, we do know who the mole is. They showed us last episode when they were told thragg and the viltrumites were going back to viltrum

N00B

Thaedus was voiced by Peter Cullen and Argall was voiced by Frank Weller. They are Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively. I cannot wait to see you hear more of them once Transformers comes along.

DiabloAnos

Didn't know I needed to see Optimus Prime merc Megatron till now.

Nick

the real secret reason they got Tech Jacket to join is because she has the little bomb that makes you go "poof" if you get hit by it.... but only if you are not paying close attention to it

PandaBH

Oliver leader of the fraud list

PurportedGrey

I’m really glad we got that Argall flashback, it makes me feel pretty vindicated about my Argall vs. Thragg comparisons in Ep.2! Argall is clearly evil, but there are layers to how he ruled. He wasn’t as outright annihilation-focused as Thragg/Kregg. Under Argall, there seemed to be space for different philosophies about strength, as long as you could actually back those beliefs up. That’s basically what Argall was telling Thragg, "if you believe Thaedus is weak because of his beliefs, prove it." Once Thragg took power, though, that nuance vanished instantly. He initiated the Purge and enforced a brutal, singular ideology, targeting anyone who didn’t align with it. The man he killed was likely a Thaedus sympathizer on the council or something, and many of the others we see die seem to fall into that same category, or were simply deemed weak by their extreme standards. It’s a fantastic expansion of the Viltrumites as a whole. It adds real depth to both Thragg and Thaedus’ motivations, while also showing there was an alternative path, one Thaedus had multiple chances to shape but ultimately fumbled with his extreme actions. It really makes you wonder if what they needed all along was a guiding hand like the kind of perspective Nolan is starting to offer.

Wumpafruit

Any plans to watch Witch Hat Atelier? I love Invincible but Witch Hat has more animation frames in thirty seconds than Invincible has in this whole season.

Teib _21

they revealed the mole last episode.

Pell D. indestructible

You should check out MarriageToxin, it's a new anime, it's the type of anime you'd like, the trailer was recommended in the discord but it's out on Crunchyroll now

Miklar Sihn

The purge with Thragg is actually kinda genius from 1 angle. It left 3 kinds of Viltrumites. It left the incredibly loyal, who would have never turned. It left crazy and murderous, who wouldn't be able to really cooperate with alien forces. Finally, it left the people willing to go along with the purge to keep themselves alive. They will have begun moralizing their choice the moment they went along and will at minimum be more likely to let stuff like this go next time... at worst, they will brainwash themselves into becoming loyal Viltrumites.

mitchhamilton64

alicia.... do you not remember that last episode they already found out who the mole was?

Riley

please ep 8 today

Alexander deLongchamps

Look see here's episode 7 will you people stop nagging her about it now

Xenocrona

No one asked you to say that here, now you're just trying to instigate some arguments. Cmon bruh

Vendacator

Thragg is the real Satan in this universe

Marcello Reyes

We already know who the mole is. it was that fat alien guy that was at the collision planet. he was shot in the head.

Marcello Reyes

Huge Oliver L. Told multiple times Thragg isn't to be messed with, got his arm and jaw torn off for not listening.

Bob

Oh, I just now realized Battle Beast is Michael Dorn, that's such a perfect casting. Battle Beast is just Worf.

Jyxxe

This episode highlights something very interesting: the Viltrumites treat Mark and Oliver very differently, despite their remarkable similarities. Even from the moment a Viltrumite other than Nolan went to Earth and met Mark, he was treated as one of them. Oliver, on the other hand, hasn't managed to get a single Viltrumite to take him seriously. Something about Mark signals that he is a true, pure-blooded Viltrumite, despite the fact that they all know that he and Oliver share the exact same amount of Viltrumite genetics, and even from exactly the same person.

Dyno

Yea, Mark telling Thragg he killed Conquest. Congrats Nolan, mission accomplished. At not even 20 years old, Mark's strong enough to kill the 2nd scariest viltrumite out there. The empire has found their host.

xxDrain

Space racer casually missing a world-ending gun all over the place :D How many distant planets gone I wonder.

Yovan_Night (Purple Rain🟪)

The purge itself was meant to get rid of the weak, but the majority of the Viltrumites that we saw die were killed by third-partying, so the Viltrumites who survived aren’t an accurate representation of the truly strong like Thragg wanted. That’s why the purge was stupid asf. He should’ve held a massive tournament or smth.

Aliulo

We all must have had amnesia, we forgot that HE'S HIM.

Egregore

The mole died last episode; Thragg just set up a trap with his fake retreat to Viltrum and they fell for it.

dues

this what happens when you react to the 7th episode almost 2 weeks later lol the mole really was just the sideplot and a random alien

bc@t

The pull back of Thragg's punch being so strong that it had a force strong enough to suck in Nolan of all people, and that wasn't even this demon's strongest possible hit, is utterly horrifying and I love it.

xxDrain

42:00 ...but not for me :^)

BakaSama

Now the question is, will Alicia remember those words later down the road?

Egregore

Honestly I kinda hoped they would have Oliver die from that attack to drive home how casually deadly Thragg is towards anyone he doesn’t consider to be a “True Viltrumite”. It also doesn’t really make much sense to me for Oliver to survive being unconscious and bleeding out in space next to an exploding planet when he previously almost died from running out of breath during the fight against Conquest.

Some Simp

If she doesn't,im sure her audience WILL remind her

Boobaongrass

This is why we watch the recaps

Lucifer 669

"Not her looking at him with the 'fuck me' eyes." Yeah...

Commisar_Pickle

Ive told my Trekkie mother about it. i love that his lines are the most Klingon lines ever

Shoopdawoop

Alicia....bruh the mole was that alien dude that got shot in the head by his brother lol. Cmon now.

ELS_Art

I love that Alicia caught that animation error. 🤣

Rinnzu Rosendale

And he is the one that told them Thragg was going to Viltrum.

TNR_Dragon

Love how we got both Peter Cullen and Frank Welker (Thaedus and Argall) in this series as important characters. Optimus and Megatron reunites in opposition again

C-c-c-ComboBreaker

It wasn't meant to get rid of physical weakness. It was to get rid of those with empathy or hesitation like Thaedus

Vincent Price

Alicia: I don't need to watch the recaps, I've seen it all already! Also Alicia 10 minutes later: Oh man I wonder who the mole is. I think it's Allen's girlfriend. *the last thing we see in the last episode was them finding the mole and deciding to go to fight Thragg*

Sean A. Crofts

She HAS, in the past, remembered bit characters and the like in One Piece from hundreds of episodes ago;here’s hoping she retains what she said about her this episode. 🤞

Sean A. Crofts

Beelzethragg: Lord of the Viltruflies.

Anon Ghost

She going to release ep 8 this weak? I mean it launched yesterday.

Vincent Price

Alicia's asking the right questions at the end

DrOverbuild8363

Did Alicia forget that we already found out who the mole was? Also fun fact, the voice actor for the Emperor before Thragg was the voice actor for Megatron in a lot of Transformers media. So having those 2 voice Thaedus and the Emperor was very fitting.

Goose

i would say he got worse injuries fighting conquest than anything thragg did to him. i mean a missing jaw and arm compared to almost getting ripped apart then almost having your skull crushed. and it doesnt seem to matter if they lose consciousness while in space because apparently nolan and mark can somehow keep holding their breath while unconscious as well.

PsyrinCall

But she doesn't need the recap obviously.

DrOverbuild8363

XD "Yeah I don't need the recap" skips, 20 minutes later "We still have a mole to worry about. I think it might be Allen's girlfriend" audience "I thought you didn't need the recap?!" XD

Rupert Anderson Jr

Thragg is him. He's been him, and he will continue to be him.

Memento Forever

I think Thragg wanted the heir of Argall to perish, so he can rule forever, deep down, but he would never admit it

AnotherWeeb

thragg doesn't aura farm. Thragg gives aura the opportunity to exist near him also, fuck. I know what they're doing for the finale. I didn't think we'd get that until next season

AnotherWeeb

you will never be him, because thragg does not share

AnotherWeeb

I think he underestimated oliver's ability to survive as a lesser being. He also probably expected him to remain stranded in space indefinitely.

Temp Temp

the mole was already taken care of last ep you chud.

DrakeNoAubrey

As we can see Alicia obv doesn't need recaps

Miklar Sihn

Yovan, The point was never to get rid of the weak. It was to get rid of all that wouldn't follow someone with overwhelming power. Those with strong morals... unless they were loyal to him. He created a race that was unshakably loyal to himself, as the strongest Viltrumite. Only the fact that Nolan got changed so much on earth and failed to turn his son, allowed the plan to fail.

Lumnethia

I love to think that the Purge set in motion by Thragg has also for purpose to kill every Viltrumite who can't or hesitated to kill their own kind if needed. It's clued in the discussion between Argall and Thragg about Thaedus and the fact that he is questionning theirs way of doing things. Thragg considered he was mistaking about it. And then realized at the moment the Emperor was killed, this hesitation of his is what precisely allowed Argall Death. Then seen this as sickness, and weakness to purge in a way.

Miklar Sihn

Damn, i didn't see that part. It is kind of like a purge of himself... While leaving a planet that won't go against him.

MorRud

What I don't really understand is that, based on the Conquest fight, Viltrumite brain still needs oxygen, they are just better at holding their breaths longer, but still vulnerable to suffocation. How did Oliver survive, without half his face, floating in space for the whole second part of the battle and however long it took them to travel through the planet? There is no way all of that took place in less then 5 minutes. He should be braindead, right?

Carlston Solar

When Thragg says "Show me." That line, the tone, like a bored child wanting to see something impressive after centuries of nothing. That shit hard

Dark Sunrise Studios

It could be anime logic, where talking is a free action. Considering Viltrumite speed and agility, it wouldn't be impossible the fight lasted just a couple minutes. Also, when we're unconscious, we use a lot less oxygen than when we're, say, fighting for our lives while someone strangles us. And we can be resuscitated within about 4 minutes of our brains losing oxygen. Considering Viltrumite resilience AND healing factor, it's probably a whole lot longer. Not to mention, if they can survive for many minutes on one lungful of oxygen, they probably need way less of it than we do. Yeah, yeah, trying to explain comic book logic is kinda pointless, but still possibly makes sense in this case. Unlike so many other things in this show. (Mark can fly through and blow up a whole planet without a scratch, but can't take a punch from a robot?)

Okarun

wooohooo!

Ja’Maine Lee

20:19 alicia we literally already saw the mole get found and then killed. It was the other twin from like an episode ago when he lowered the barrier or whatever

EnderSlayer366

NOOOOOOOOOOO MARK DON'T, PUT YOUR SHIRT BACK ON SHE CAN SEE IT NOOOOO

Okarun

32:27 Alicia: "Not her looking at him with the F@uck me eyes, goddamn..." if you know... You know...

Malkalypse

"They're either going to breed us or kill us!" So either way we're fucked? lol

Culty

the moles already dead

PurportedGrey

They are also an asset flip, seeing as the one they are killing is in the line up with them in Ep.2, they just reused them thinking people would be more shocked at kids killing eachother instead we all did the DeCaprio meme.😂

Brian Perry

Did she really forget we learned who the mole was last episode?
