So when Simon went berserk his power overflowed and caused the whole canyon to erupt. He was on that "my world is crashing down" type beat. BUT WAIT THERES MORE, If i remember correctly that overflowing power is also what reawakened Kamina. Like Partywolf said, fighting spirit healed him; albeit temporarily. But yes, like the spanish inquisition, nobody expects the MC to die.

I know "Believe in the Me that believes in you" is memed to death, and it's powerful, but this "Listen Simon. Don't believe in me, and don't believe in the you that I believe in. Believe in the you that believes in yourself" is such a god-tier final words to leave with someone. Kamina really was the GOAT big brother to his dying breath and beyond, because "a real man doesn't die even if he's killed!"

When this was on Netflix, they messed up the episode order and it skipped from 7 to 9, which tells you Kamina died in the first few seconds. Luckily it wasn't my first time watching

Alicia. It has been pretty obvious throughout the show that Yoko liked Kamina and always complains about him because she is focused on him. It is why the queen called her a "pain in the butt yourself" because she was being annoying with how dishonest she was about her feelings despite it being obvious.
