If Ahsoka got her way, she would have probably died in this episode, realistically. Obi Wan and Anakin literally saved her life. You can even see it when the few stragglers started running, the sheer wall of droids marching over the hill. She manage to break like a single battalion and thought "The battle is ours!". Like no Ahsoka... Just no... Biblical levels of tunnel vision.

So fun fact, that is Admiral Yularan and yea, he becomes one of the Empire’s higher ups later on, we even see him aboard the Death Star in the first of the Original trilogy, though blink and you miss him.

Honestly, I hope to see more of these Clone Wars reacts. The show gets infinitely better season 2 onwards. This show admittedly had a rough 1st season.

But if you watch the fight closely you can see that Ahsoka is dominating, nearly always on the offensive. The bounty hunter is almost always on the defensive, blocking or running away. Really all the bounty hunter used was basic blade work which she would most likely know given her profession.

Being proficient doesn't necessarily mean highly skilled. Besides even though anyone can use a lightsaber, jedi and sith are trained to use the force to increase their movement speed and reflexes giving them an even larger base advantage over all but the most skilled and experienced of swordsmen.

Sort of, but also not really? On the one hand, it would provide at least some understanding of basic swordsmanship that you could translate into wielding a lightsaber. But while it may look superficially similar in design, a lightsaber is a very different animal than a regular sword. They look like they have similar proportions, but the blade of a lightsaber is weightless and would have a drastically different balance than a normal sword. It doesn't require the same kind of momentum and force generation of a normal sword (even if many Jedi use it as if it does, because that's flashier and more exciting visually), which is why we sometimes see Jedi and Sith use moves that would rarely (if ever) be used by an actual swordsman since they don't actually NEED to put a great deal of force behind their blows to do severe damage. Y'know, that sort of thing. Honestly, I think someone LESS thoroughly trained in swordsmanship would have an easier time learning to properly wield a lightsaber specifically because they wouldn't have the ingrained habits needed for proper swordsmanship that don't really have a function in lightsaber combat (or which may even be detrimental if used with a lightsaber).
