I love that they got Wayne Brady to voice Tary 💜 he's magical.

Harnson

Am I a dick for being excited for Alicia seeing the water plane? 😅

So glad Vox Machina's back!!! So glad we get to catch up where everyone is after a whole year. Love Taryon already, he's complicated and a little pompous, he'll fit in perfectly with Vox Machina xD The cult stuff happening in the background is interesting. Super excited to see that plotline converge. The big guy being a avatar of some kind is fascinating.

Wasn’t sure how they were going to handle Taryon but I but so far it’s fantastic

Yeah, watching this episode yesterday made me immediately think of how Alicia was going to handle an entire episode of being underwater. Ever since I started following her and learned of her aquaphobia I catch myself seeing underwater sequences in films and shows and thinking "oh Alicia is going to *hate* this."

Hellguin

With Alicia watching VM and M9, I decided to actually listen through the entire tabletop campaigns, as soon as the Plane of water was a key point my first thought was "Alicia is gonna hate everything about this"

Listen, the Water Trial was amazing, don't get me wrong, but am I the only felt like there wasn't nearly enough build-up to it? I mean, Keyleth's Earth Trial was only four episodes ago, and that one had almost an entire season of narrative build-up. This one had barely one episode, that it shared with other plot points. It deserved more.

ep 3 soon???

Taka

in the show only Vax and Keyleth take the trial but in the campaign (episode 88) Vax, Vex, Keyleth, Grog, Percy, and Taryon take it on together while Doty counts birds outside.

Love that at around the 9 minute mark Alicia and Ant both just predict the ending of the season lmao THE PREWATCH ALLEGATIONS WILL ALWAYS COME BACK (Also, the concept of Alicia saying last episode being really excited to see Keyleth again, only for the Keyleth episode to be fully underwater is just peak comedy)
