I grew up with the og series through double zeta since my dad is big Gundam fan, but I’m only 24 so there’s not many people my age who also like the og series

Vivica the witch

I'm heartbroken they didn't have the 8th MS team intro animation, its so good

RF

Lol, I was actually thinking of requesting this at some point with my pledge.

Elsa

LOL, you like gundam V's opening, it's super funny, go watch it!

Elsa

Oh no, don't skip blazing...

Asael Urena

i grew up with g gundam, and gundam wing i loved them, i especially loved g fighter gundam it was so awesome.

Cat Punch Man

If you like to see political stuff from gundam series, 00 Gundam is perfect because it's its own universe so you don't have to watch other gundams and it's relatively new compares to other political gundam series.

Shig

would you ever consider doing a one piece opening watchthrough? even without watching the anime itself because I know its a extremely huge commitment. I'd love to see your reaction to at least just the openings if possible :>

Rafael Ramirez

Shame all the other 00 openings are blocked on YouTube:(

I actually started getting into Gundam not too long ago. I started with the original show because that's how I do and I've also seen Gundam Z. I like it but it's definitely a different vibe from these modern lightning fast anime with super advanced animation and everything. I'll probably watch ZZ at some point though I hear it's a black sheep. Fun fact, the blond guy with the sunglasses is super huge in Japan, like as big in pop culture as Darth Vader in the west.

God nostalgia trip. I grew up watching Gundam Wing, I seem to remember it wasbon around the same time as Dragonball Z and my friend and I would watch them back to back. Since then my wife and I have watched Seed together and are looking into this new one and we hear Iron blooded orphans was pretty good too.

Joey Cat

That stunned face when you heard the old Gundam music was hilarious XD

Joey Cat

Only watched Gundam Seed and its sequels all the way though and hearing that opening theme made me so nostalgic!

Kevin Søndergaard

I have watched some of the Unicorn and the very old one. But my first Gundam was Gundam 00, because, I like you, really like Code Geass, and back then I remember thinking that the style of animation reminded me a bit of the style of animation used in Code Geass.

Nakama Forever

When i was in school i saw a few episodes of gundam on toonami. Other that that im in the same boat as you. Let's embark on this mecha adventure together 😄.... I had to also add at 24:20, i absolutely love this song! I had no idea it was from gundam

Maurice Phillips

Growing up as a kid they would show reruns of Gundam G and Wing. However, Gundam Seed was the first one I saw from start to finish.

Emma Brune

Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt is a personal favorite - very cinematic with an incredible soundtrack. It's a self-contained story you could jump right into, it's fairly short and it's fairly new too! *Edit - the broad plots of Gundam series are incredibly political. War is Hell, with Giant Robots.

Oscar Cruz

For a better ride into it just decide on the ones that you find the characters interesting, they tend to make or break the show especially in Gundam
