True Stories: The ‘Real’ Mia Preston

Hello!

So, I had a rough day and basically needed to take a mental health day so I’m just posting a true story tonight.

I tried to work on ‘Fed Up,’ TFGT, Mia’s Junior Year, and 20,000 calorie challenge, but I just can’t write fiction when I’m not in a solid emotional state. And for anybody who is concerned, nothing happened today, I’m on medication for anxiety and sometimes it’s just not enough. My life is going pretty great right now (in large part to my patreon being so successful), it’s rare that I have a day this rough. I’ll be fine, I took today as a rest day and I’m already starting to feel much better. I’ll post something substantive later this week.

Anyway, let’s get to the content.  This one is almost 2,500 words.

I mentioned in my true story about the plump pole vaulter that the reason I never made the first move in that relationship was because I’d had my sights set on someone else at the time. Well, this is the story of that other girl. For a pseudonym, let’s call her Mia.

I met Mia when I was a freshman in college. I was at a party, and my friend brought her along. She was a sophomore and was dating my friend (I use the term friend very loosely here, he was really a teammate, but I never liked him for a variety of reasons, I’m sure I’ll get into them as I tell this story). Anyway, I was drunk, and so was she, my friend introduced us, and that was it. I saw her a few times my Freshman year, but never really spoke to her again. That being said, I did check her out on a number of occasions.

…

She was a very pretty girl, 5’6, long dark hair, very fit (a former runner in high school, but quit sports in college, probably weighed around 120lbs (probably a little less than that), she was skinny, but also had really nice curves, modest chest, nice butt/hips/thighs. If she sounds like a certain character of mine (*cough* *cough* Mia) that’s because she was the main inspiration for that character’s looks and personality (at least originally).

I have many stories about Mia, too many to really share in detail in one of these little updates, so I’ll try to go over some background and maybe one juicy memory.

…

When I arrived back at college for my sophomore year, my group of friends wanted to go to a concert. We agreed to carpool. We decided on a time and a place to meet up on campus, and… I overslept and they left without me. They never texted me that they left, so when I woke up, I rushed to the bench we were supposed to meet up at only to find the place deserted. No text message, no phone call, they just left without me. I’d questioned my choice in friend group prior to this, but I was starting to realize my friends were not really my friends. Anyways, as I am sitting there, feeling pretty upset with myself, a car pulls up, it’s not my friends, it’s my friend’s girlfriend, Mia, THEY LEFT WITHOUT HER TOO!

She was annoyed her boyfriend had ditched her like that (she’d also overslept, apparently she had not been sleeping over with her bf) and suggested that I get in her car so we could go to the concert together. Not having anything else to do, I didn’t really think about it, I just got in the car. It was about an hour drive and we had some great conversations, we liked the same music, we talked about our summers, she was very interested in getting to know me, and I was very interested in getting to know her. She had a bit of a flirty personality, and was real easy to talk to.

We got to the concert and tried to meet up with our friend group, but it took forever to find them, and eventually after we did link up with them, they ditched us again (yes her own boyfriend preferred hanging out and drinking with his friends than his GF) so we just decided to enjoy the concert together. During that day, Mia explained she’d been having problems with her boyfriend, and that was why he was probably acting so distant toward her, but she had met his family over the summer and was convinced things would get better. She asked me what I thought of her boyfriend, and I was honest, I told her I thought he was an alcoholic, but she thought I was joking and laughed. We ended up having a really nice day together, kinda felt like a date (I even bought her food, a burger and fries, and she ate it all super fast). I didn’t know what to really make of the experience, but she was dating my friend, so I just figured she was a friendly person.

After that, I quickly learned that she had developed a bit of a crush on me. At parties she would dance with me, she played drinking games with me, and was very touchy (hugs, squeezing my arm, on one occasion she snuck up on me, tackled me, and tried to wrestle with me, etc.)

Her boyfriend pulled me aside one night and told me that he didn’t trust her around me, but that he trusted me not to let her try anything. Bizarre, but he had been massively wasted when he said this, so maybe it made sense to him.

One night that semester, both her and her boyfriend got really drunk at a party that I was at (typical), she wanted to go back to her dorm and he wanted to keep partying. They were fighting in front of the whole house. Eventually he asked some freshman teammates to walk her home, but she refused, so he asked me to walk her home, and she was really happy about that, so that’s what ended up happening after he basically begged me to do it.

Except, she was really drunk and couldn’t walk straight. So I had to carry her back to her dorm. She was just as skinny and fit as she’d been the year before so it wasn’t too much trouble. I carried her home, put her into her bed, and she asked if I would 'stay' with her.  She lifted up the covers and scooted over to make room for me.

I reminded her that she had a boyfriend, and that I wouldn’t be staying as long as they were dating. So, she pouted and protested, and said she would settle for a hug to show her thanks. I took the bait, hugged her, said goodbye and she tried to kiss me. I didn’t stick around. I asked her roommate to take care of her (the roommate had been in a common area, let’s call her Kate). Kate asked me what happened, and I told her, and Kate told me that Mia had a tendency to get obsessed with boys, but that her fascination with me would only last a week or two and then she’d move on.

Mia didn’t move on.

Every weekend, she would find me and hang out with me. I started going to different parties trying to avoid her, she would find me. I stayed in for a night, she would come to my dorm room, completely wasted, and want to hang out with me. It kind of felt like I had a drunk stalker, but I will confess that a part of me really liked this attention from a girl I found very attractive.

When she was drunk, she would flirt with me, tell me about how unhappy she was with her boyfriend and that they’d probably break up soon, and be very complementary toward me. When she was sober, she wasn’t really forward about having a crush on me, but she did make an effort to spend time with me, we’d go on walks, study together, she even demanded to wrap all of my Christmas gifts. It was innocent, but at the same time, I could feel her intentions toward me and it made me uncomfortable to an extent. I didn’t want to be the guy she cheated on her boyfriend with. I liked who she was when she was sober, I found the drunk version of herself attractive too, but it did feel like was not serious about breaking up with her boyfriend.

Anyway, weight gain. I was a sophomore, she was a Junior, during the holidays that winter, her father passed away unexpectedly. She was devastated.  Her boyfriend wasn’t great with emotional support, so she leaned on me for a shoulder to cry on. She also started to put on weight. I noticed it when classes started again in the spring.

When she’d been wrapping my Christmas presents, she asked to see the classes I’d signed up for in the Spring. She joined 2 of the 4 classes I was taking that semester (without telling me, surprise!). She sat next to me in each class. And was a constant distraction, more interested in flirting with me instead of paying attention in class.

Anyway, over the holidays, in her grief, she’d turned to food for comfort (her guilty pleasures were buffalo wings, and cheesecake) and had put on about 12 pounds, I know because she told me and complained about it. She’d sprouted a beer belly, and was very self-conscious about it. She constantly asked me if I thought she still looked okay, and I would tell her every time she looked better than ever.

Apparently, she was insecure because her boyfriend was being a jerk about her weight (He would say he was worried she wasn't taking care of herself, but he'd also fat shame her, to her face and behind her back, she wasn't even fat, she'd just developed the beginnings of a cute beer belly).

After this, they started breaking up and getting back together every other week or so. She would make advances toward me when they were ‘broken up’ but I didn’t want to do anything with her if they were just going to keep getting back together (she was also a bit emotionally fragile at this time because of her father, and I didn't want to make things worse for her). She would promise they were done for good, and I’d wait a week and they’d be back together.

I was sorry for her that she lost her father, but I didn’t like being lead on and toyed with, so I gave up on her, and started trying to date a different girl, Mia’s roommate actually (not the pole vaulter, yet). I spent some time with Kate, we went on a date, went back to my dorm room, and Mia found out, showed up drunk, and basically snapped at Kate that I was ‘off limits.’ Mia referred to me as ‘hers’ which was bizarre to hear. I’m pretty sure it was valentines day, she was on an off week with her boyfriend, and she asked me to be her valentine after she chased off Kate. I basically said that was fine because I didn’t want to deal with any drama, but for the moment, I was done with Mia and wasn’t crushing on her any longer. Too many red flags.

We stayed friends, we still had classes together, so we would still hang out, but I stopped going to parties if I knew she or her boyfriend were going to be there. I think she took the hint and went back with her boyfriend.

In classes as the semester progressed her wardrobe changed, she was normally very well dressed, but toward the end of the semester she only wore black leggings and sweatshirts to class. I thought nothing of it until she visited me drunk before finals week.

Partying and food were sources of comfort for her, and that semester in the aftermath of her father’s death she indulged a lot. It had been over a month and a half since she’d last showed up to my room wasted wanting to hang out, but on this night, she showed up in a pretty little party dress that I am sure fit her perfectly the previous semester, but now it looked undersized. She’d put on almost 20 pounds during the semester, add that to the 10 she’d gained over winter break, and Mia was looking thick, and had a beer belly. Her legs had gotten thicker and softer, same with her hips, her butt was bigger, her breasts didn’t seem noticeably larger, but she was more of a bottom-heavy girl when she gained.

Anyway, she shows up with a friend of hers I’ve never seen before. It was her best friend from high school who was visiting. This girl, let’s just call her ‘Sam’ was pretty attractive, very fit, clearly kept in shape, I think she was a swimmer in high school. Sam sits on my bed, I’m at my desk, and Mia plopped down on my carpet and lays down, spreading her legs and arms like a starfish. Keep in mind, she is wearing a tight dress, so she is basically showing me her panties, but I was doing my d*mn best not to look.

We are all talking, Mia and Sam want me to go out and party with them, but it was like a Thursday (‘Thirsty Thursday’ as Mia said), so I turned them down because I had an exam the next day. Disappointed, Sam gets up to leave, but Mia is feeling lazy, so she demands:

‘Carry me!’

So, Sam squats down and tries to lift Mia up off my carpet, struggles a lot, grunts loudly, and then drops her. Totally serious she scolds Mia, "What have you been eating? You got soooo heavy!"

Mia looks at me, blushes like I've never seen anyone blush, and snaps back, "I didn't get heavy, you’re just weak!"

Sam calls out her bullshit and counters, "I've been hitting the gym. How much do you weigh?"

Mia blushes more, looks at me, and refuses to tell her, so Sam pokes her belly and adds, "I bet you won't tell me cause you know it’s a lot!"

After this, Mia pretty much runs out of my room humiliated and her friend pretty easily chased her down to apologize for embarrassing her in front of me.

Mia would later tell me she didn't like that high school friend anymore and that she liked her better when she'd been the heavy one. Apparently in high school Sam had been chubbier.

As a WG fetishist, it was the stuff dreams are made of. Even though I’d noticed all the red flags and been tired of Mia’s bullsh*t, I was more attracted to her than I’d ever been before. It felt like I had just witnessed something out of a WG story I’d been reading.

At the time I’d been reading a story called “A Downward Trend” by maxymumspyder/kowlooner. This felt like something ripped right out of that story. For anyone curious what story I’m talking about, check it out:

I wish I could say I listened to my better judgement and kept Mia at a distance from then on out, but I didn’t. As she continued putting on weight in college, my interest in her grew, and so did her toxic behavior.

That summer she went to Europe, studying abroad I believe, and came back much heavier. I’ll share some more experiences with this girl some other time.

Until then, I hope you enjoyed this one. Please feel free to learn from my mistakes.  If you've got questions or comments, feedback is always welcome.

Sincerely,

Polaris

Digging these true stories. It's nice to hear where some of the inspiration comes from. I feel like drawing from real life experiences adds potency to any story.
