Can't wait to see the YouTube comment section.

FUN FACT: I stopped watching DS9 in S2 of its original run. I would go back after that for the odd ep. Meridian is actually one of my faves. Even though it's basically the musical "BRIGADOON" set in space. I'd still give it an S, even though nobody else would agree. Because for ME, it IS an S. I don't give a shit. 😁

I am always entertained by the way triggered Alex starts profiling the audience members who disagree with him. Like "Oh they must hate love stories and love pulsars'. I think most of them have just seen better love stories in Trek.

Yeah... and that quote's from a particularly dull episode too. If anything following these guys has made me realise that my enjoyment of Star Trek went down when they go too much with the technobabble.

I'm glad you guys like this one. I do too, the emotional moments are fire and Quark's quest to make the major's image into a holosweet program was funny. Agree with an A rating.

We've seen Jadzia brag about all of her the experience of things like "being both a father and mother" and all that , so after seven lifetimes I just don't buy that there would still be "love at first sight, throw everything away for it" happening, especially since even the pre-joined Jadzia was presented as being rather pragmatic.

So I am rewatching your Thine Own Self reaction, in some episodes you guys start to feel there’s not enough time, next time insert the Caretaker proclaiming “not enough time!”

The thing about the techno babble is sometimes it's babble that they probably got dropped in to sound sciencey and then I'm like, yeah yeah whatever, fine. BUT sometimes someone has really thought something through and used it in a profound or interesting way. I do get excited about the latter, and I see other science types doing that too. That's part of why so many real life science and space folks were inspired by trek. I'm not sure the TA crew can tell the difference between the two. It's like they can't perceive the difference between a kazoo and a flute.
